I've done all the part above, and the journel pages summary is "I should go see him for a reward" something like that. Where to now?

He's in the Docks at night where the Apostate mage board was. I had a problem where the quest wouldn't disappear out of my log after talking to him and the quest marker was still on his head, but as long as he gives you a crappy staff you're good to go.

Thanks, apparently it's glitched same as many sidequest in DA2 (sigh...where is patch) but at the very least you're complete it...technically.

Is it bugged? Im having the same problem as you, quest marker still on him and quest is still logged, theres a group of hooligans just ahead of him too, cant interact with them.

And i can no longer interact with the Chantry + Mage board. Mage board lady is gone too. Im suspecting that we're not suppose to do both Mage and Chantry side quests but can only pick 1 side?

I just completed the Sketch quest as a warrior going to the areas listed above, when you talk to sketch it's not an "in-depth" conversation, you just talk to him like you can talk to a random citizen. Just wait until he has finished speaking then you complete the quest

Having the same issue as many others. Sketch gives his Resplit-Shaft item and the entry is updated not completed.

Quest now says - You took care of the foreign assassins..

No next steps.

 Bugged for me as well. Killed hightown at night, but no quest update for doing so.

Thanks guys for these, let me add some details

Hightown at Night  = Denerim Avengers [between hightown square and viscount's way]
Lowtown = Antivan Assassins [on the stairs leading to Elven Alienage]
The Gallows = Qunari Death Squad [just before reaching the herbalist, turn left]
The Hanged Man at Night = Rivaini Legendary Beard Group [end of the corridor]
Darktown = Carta Assailants [staircase leading to the south part of the map]

Same as the others, finished the assassins received the item and the quest still shows even though it says I took care of the foreign assassins.

That was bugged for me.

Finished it but market/log won't clear like many others are saying.

Crappy staff too, i hope I'm not missing a followup quest for something better due to the bug.

Same issue here. It's almost as if the "You took care of foreign assassins" is just supposed to be on the completed side rather than active quest side.

For me, a quest marker appered for sketch, one key thing was taking to the lady at the Hanged man, she thanks you and pays you - then continue in order and finish off the last 2 places. Still ends up bugged at the end, but it makes me wonder if theirs an NPC in each area like there was at the hanged man...

IF the lady you're speaking of is named "A Friend", and located in the back storeroom of the Hanged Man, she has nothing to do with this quest, and rather, she gives you a reward for clearing out the bandit lairs in each Act.

i found one group and that was all. i walked a lot i think through Kirkwall since i got that quest and didn't find anyone beyond that, so i just gave up

Seems to just be a bug where the completed quest does not move to the completed section, not a big deal.
