I've got a strange problem, generally all armors I've found in the game so far have restrictions that only Hawke can equip them. I play with mage and I can't equip any companion with any armor :(.
I suppose it is a bug, any ideas how to solve it?

To quote the manual, "Although Hawke's companions choose their own attire, a few improvements are available for their armor or robes."

You can upgrade their attire with runes, but you can't change it.

Actully you upgrade their armor with certain items you find from the mrechants. I belive they add the rune slots and abilities, but can' swear as i'm not that far in yet.

Agreed, DA2 is all about the graphics. The gameplay and RPG elements leave much rp be desired. Fun game and a great storyline so far though (about to finish act 2)

It's a bad choice from Bioware. RPG is all about improvement: levelling, finding new gear, getting more gold... I have a lot of armor and I cannot do anything with it.

The fun part for me in Origins was completing sets and having my companions wear them so they would all have their distinct, awesome looks.

I like that they retain their flavor by keeping their "character clothes". I really do. Maybe moving forward, make it an option, though. To keep their flavor clothes or be able to equip them with other armor.

Its a step backwards. Basically 2/3 of all armor in the game is pointless. Only use is to sell. Considering most people will only finish game with 1 character(if at all) it's a terrible waste. They already short changed us by recycling the enviroments.

This was announced months before release.
