Just like ME:2, DA2 is overall a very fun and enjoyable game, but I can't help but get a sense of superficiality from it. I don't attach my self to the characters as much as I'd like, and Hawk isn't a likable a hero as Shephard or Grey Warden. Hopefully ME:3 will be epic, and DA:3 will also be super epic if it ties into some deeper plot elements of DA:O. It seems to be standard for the second game in a trilogy (not that DA2 is necessarily part of a trilogy), to be not as awesome. In any case, I can see huge potential for DA3 and ME:3, so I'm willing to be those will be pretty awesome.
I really only have 2 large problems with DA2.
Firstly, it feels more like a spin-off than an actual Dragon Age game (just a personal opinion). Secondly, I know it just came out, but I don't think modding tools are going to be released, and that was one of the major pluses to DA:O for many, many people. I understand that Bioware needs to sell their DLC's, and modding is competition, but I feel that Bioware and EA should be aware of their fanbase and take the appropriate steps to remain awesome.
Well that's pretty much it.
My 2 cents on DA2
