(I didn't find anything along this line in the forums, if there is such a thread, sorry for the double posting.)

There were quite a few of those, though I believe everyone got a feeling for a different type of pull in the game. I do play the game rather thorough and I have been sad and entertained, though it took over 50% exploration of the gameworld to the moment that touched me the most.

The point where the werewolf dalish wife gives me the scarf and begs my character to put her out of misery and tell her husband she is dead so he is at ease. I wasn't able to loot the poor body. If I had a chance I would have made a tomb for her. That got me badly.

And the way Alister is presenting the rose. Not the way he gave it to my char, but most why he picked it. The marvel of nature producing something admirable and beautiful even amidst chaos and misery.

And let us not forget Wynne's son. That was the moment that made me really wish I could have an option of talking with Wynne and find the son to see what he grew into.

How about you?

The romance between my character and Alistair. The voice actor for Alistair really put his soul into it. Shame it didn't play such a big part in the end. Not even a good bye kiss. :(

When Leliana sings. That was beautiful. I still listen to it, from time to time. Usually listen to it once before I go to bed, it's that good :)

Tamlen's return was very touching for my Dalish, especially since he was in love with my PC.

IF you are a human noble, you can marry Anora. She will make you King at the end.

When you save both the werewolves and the elves I think.

Yeah, if you go back to your camp after this event, and your approval rating is high enough, she will say it reminded her of a song, and you'll get a 2min scene of her singing.

I hate fulfilling the nerd clichée and going for a f/f relationship, and I didn't expect going for a romance option at all, but I just couldn't resist Leliana's charms, she's an adorable character. But, how good it is that tastes can be so different, with her song she almost ruined it, I hated that scene. If there had jst been a nice way to tell her to.... uh, search for her runaway nag or whatever.... *sigh*. Anyway, the "morning after" was just cute too.

Morrigan was moving at times when she showed emotions, like when she tried to admit her friendship. Alistair, I never liked him much because he was so obviously "that female PC love option" (you can easily tell from the 21st century-boy haircut, those are always the romance options for girls). However, it almost broke my heart when I had to break his... first, he couldn't get my PC, then she let him down again during the Landsmeet. Boy, did I feel bad...

Also, many cudos go to Wynne who was always there when my poor PC felt lost and close to a nervous breakdown. Wonderful old lady.

Finally, the City Elf origin I started with and seeing my family again at the end of the game, a very emotional moment. I actually wanted to hug Shianni, but there wasn't a bloody dialogue option for it. I also wanted to hug my daddy and there wasn't a bloody dialogue option for it. Meh!

So far I have to go with the human noble finale. Touching, if tragic. Some of the chats with Alistair and Leliana are also up there for me. I tend to be most moved by well voice acted melancholy moments and displays of friendship and camaraderie in most games. DA has its more than its share of both.

The werewolf wife got me too. She forced me to kill her and, when I broke the curse, the only thing I could think of was: If only I had not encountered her, then maybe she would have had a happy ending.

I managed to befriend Shale to the point where she called me 'you' instead of 'it.' I remarked on it and she mentioned it was a one-time deal, and I smiled at the unspoken understanding that now existed between her and my character.

Leliana confessed her feelings and, after teasing her a little, my character confessed his feelings as well. Leliana suddenly became very frustrated and launched into a tirade about proper courtship etiquette between a man and a woman so I was grinning when the dialogue option to simply kiss her outright presented itself.

The friendship path with Morrigan caught me completely off guard. She confessed that she was so used to the idea of bedding men and having them confess their love to her that the concept of friendship between a man and a woman was completely alien to her. She had such a sad look on her face when she said: "I may not always be worthy of your friendship, but know I will always value it" really got to me and it wasn't until I got to the end of the game that I realized what she meant by that.

Loghain's last line to Anora before I whacked his head off... "Daughters never grow up. They remain 6 years old with pigtails and skinned knees forever." or something like that. I dunno, it just got me.

When Alistair kissed my PC for the first time. Basically that whole romance. Such a nice little thing of beauty in a world of despair.

The confrontation between Witherfang/Lady of the Forest and Zathrian was also pretty intense.

The little speeches after you break through the gates, especially Oghren's speech and Sten's if you've taken him with you throughout the game.

I got a farewell Kiss from Alistair on my second playthrough, i reloaded 3 times just to see if i could take the bullett instead... but no. Which made it even more touching

It's a little simplistic but for me it was conversations with the players when they mention their parents and ask about yours. The sudden look of hurt-puppy in Morrigan's and Zeveran's eyes was pretty impressive. One of the more stand out facial animation moments in the game.

Being asked about his parents at the beginning of the Gauntlet, and finally admitting that after all that time he still held himself personally responsible for their deaths, with all of his companions trying to raise his spirits: that was a culmination of 60+ hours of getting into DapperDan's world, that had an affect on me.

The ending where he told Alistair "I can't let you do that, Starfox" and sacrificed himself, and the epilogues and stuff afterword, were touching in just how perfect an ending they were for someone like DapperDan.

The "Where are they now" image at the end credits with Morrigan being with child and heading into the Frostback Mountains - even though I went through with my relationship with Leliana and didn't choose the dialog option "I'll search for Morrigan" when talking to Anora - that painting of Morrigan looking over the mountains at the Ostagar overlook just got me. All the camp conversations where she was conflicted about her reasons for joining the party vs. her reason for staying came crashing back. Really, really hope there is an expansion where you meet her again, if only once.

For me, it was the scene with Alistair right after Ostagar, where he is so very relieved to not be the only survivor. The voice acting was note perfect.

There were other scenes, sure, most of them have been mentioned, but that was the first one and the one that really grabbed me by the heart and got me addicted to this game.

The most touching moment for me was when my dog came to me before the final battle and whined, and I replied "Don't worry, boy. I'll be back soon." For some reason, that was the most moving part in the game for me.

The line "You be a good boy now" got to me more.

Alistair saying to my mage : "I know we're cursed and can't have children but I don't care, i can live without it and without mariage, just only the two of us. I just love you so much..."

That was something like that, sorry my game is in french :\\\\
