So i was doing the act of mercy and I just barely survived after Thrask died in the battle. Now I can't turn it in. Also my game sounds when I'm attacking are gone. I'm not going to revert my save 3 hrs back just to turn in this quest.

Also, ran out of quests, dont have 50 gold, used it all on potions to survive the friggin battles. What do?

Check the mail in Gamlen's House to make sure you aren't missing anything *important*

Checked the house, checked the hanged man etc. I just said screw it and started over on normal. Hard isn't worth it.

I have the same glitch with Act of Mercy. All this time spent on the game and I can't move forward. Thrask is not at the cave opening and I can't finish the quest. Is there a fix for this?

I have the same issue, which is a game ending bug, considering you cannot move ahead with the expedition without finishing this quest. Needs to be patched asap.
