i thought DA:O was a solo game, so how is it they are doing a contest for teams of gamers? i was just curious how it works. =D

Various things from what I understand.. Read the official rules on the site and that gives you a couple at least.

I think they all take their turns at the controls and get points for a wide variety of things achieved.

thay is exactly right Beerfish and the point allowances are strange so they must be giving alot out for role playing and staying in story and character cause some teams had more kills and levels and sections done and still got knocked out so their are alot more points than everyone thought,

You have to larp for points in the competetion?
I'm huge nerd myself, but... eh? Not to be down on people who do that sort of thing...
I personally stopped enjoying it after about 12 years old.
Do you mean in character IRL or simply maintain consistency with your game character's actions??
