I have 3 runes in my inventory and several items with slots for runes. But I cant seem to do anything to get the rune attached to the item. Do I need to talk to someone like I did the first game?
How do you use runes?

speak with the enchanter dwarf same guy from da:O for weapons anyways i still havnt figured out the runes for armor yet though.

As the power above said, you use the dwarves from the first game Bodahn and his son Sandal. He can be found in Hightown, look around on your map for them.
What the poster above didn't realize is that they do both Weapons AND Armor. However, the tab to switch between the two is a bit hidden. When you get into the Enchanting screen, weapon is the first option up, but if you look to the right of the word "ENCHANTMENT" there are two icons, one is a sword and one is an armor. You can use those two buttons to toggle between weapon enchants and armor enchants.
