I recently upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7. I loaded Baldur's Gate and it plays fine, but when I install TotSC it says it won't play unless I live in Canada or the US. I live in Canada. All my settings say so.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

If the install worked but the game doesn't you need to patch it. Only install the relevant TotSC patch (not the BG patch or directx patch)

Muwahahaha, you are the best, thank you, thought I had all the patches, guess I missed this one or loaded them in the wrong order.
