Yup Bugged for me as well, did meet Evet and one of his goons dropped an Axe once (run through 3 times with that quest in my log on seperate play throughs, completed game 4 times never helped the guards and still got that "Who needs saving" quest at the start of Act 3)

PC here and yes I have encountered the same bug. The question is has this quest worked for anyone on any platform? Or did the game ship with it completely and hopelessly bugged?

Xbox 360 and bugged here to just like the Exiled Prince achievements still are

It would be nice to hear from Bioware if this will be fixed or not, and/or if it will affect Trophies/Achievements.

This was annoying. It seems like the bugs just pile up by the end of the game.

Yes, bugged indeed. How this got past the beta testers is a total mystery. Did they fail to complete the code for the quest, and then forget to remove the bits they did complete, and no tester pointed it out?

It seems to have been cut out. It's the only quest together with the Qunari swords side quest that I didn't complete.

i got the quest and went to the wounded coast and there wasn't even the bandit leader there. Both of my playthroughs did this. I play on a ps3

I'm also getting the bug but i want to know from bioware is, is this quest important at all in terms of changing story being a completionist ihave to know this theres no way im playing a game as big as da again **** that **** i just dont have the time nor want to so i would like to be able to finish my game first time properly suppose till we get a response from bioware all i can do is wait sigh disapointing bioware keep this up with releaseing buged games and u wont have any fans left

That has my interest a bit piqued now, considering all the murder and sex in the game already. It would be nice if there was a way to figure out what actually pushed it over the line. . .

im on 360. the quest "who needs rescuing?" appears after you become champion but when i go to the wounded coast it has no mention of the quest and wandering around the entire area i found nothing and i hope they fix the achievements on exiled prince. its annoying that you can't unlock a single one of them

reigning it in that i discovered during best served cold is also glitched. i killed the "leashmaster" like the quest said but its still in my list and still has an arrow at the door to the area. the first time i tried the quest it didn't work i thought it might have been because i looted her then found two more hiding so i reloaded and looted after everyone was dead, didn't work either.
