On the Bioware forums, there was a topic like this, but not here. Result is that I've seen like 5 of those topics in the 2 days that I'm here. Time for a decent topic.

Windows XP Minimum Specifications
OS: Windows XP with SP3
CPU: Intel Core 2 Single (or equivalent) running at 1.6Ghz or greater
AMD 64 (or equivalent) running at 2.0Ghz or greater
RAM: 1GB or more
Video: ATI Radeon X850 256MB or greater
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT 128MB or greater
DVD ROM (Physical copy)
20 GB HD space

Windows Vista/Windows 7 Minimum Specifications
OS: Windows Vista with SP1, Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core 2 Single (or equivalent) running at 1.6Ghz or greater
AMD 64 (or equivalent) running at 2.0Ghz or greater
RAM: 1.5 GB or more
Video: ATI Radeon X1550 256MB or greater
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT 256MB or greater
DVD ROM (Physical copy)
20 GB HD space

Recommended Specifications
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz Processor or equivalent
AMD Phenom II X2 Dual-Core 2.7 GHz or greater
RAM: 2 GB (XP) or 3 GB (Windows Vista/Windows 7)
Video: ATI 3850 512 MB or greater
NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 MB or greater
DVD ROM (Physical copy)
20 GB HD space

Now, there's a point I'd like to add:
- Windows 7 is not officially supported, but it will work. I've worked with W7 for over a month now and everything works fine, including the Character Creator. So don't worry if you have Windows 7.

Most people should be able to find out if their pc will run it or not. If you're not sure, however, feel free to ask. I bet there are tons of people who'd like to help (and get +1 to their postcount!)

edit: Updates the specs, thanks dbankier !

I'd do xbox with those PC stats.

On that resolution, you should be fine. It should atleast look as good as the Xbox version, but my money is on better graphics.

And then you even got all those extra features the console version doesn't.

The minimum specs say a dual-core. A very slow one though.

He's running Vista with 2GB of ram on an E2200, if he has xbox it's probably a better idea to just play it on there if he's not planning on upgrading soon.

The graphics card is arguably lower than the min specs - depends on whether you think an 8500 is worse than a 7600 - some will say yes. I would definitely go xbox.

I have to say I didn't notice XP and Vista had different GPU requirements. I don't really see why that's the case. Vista just eats more memory.

And I don't think a 8500GT is worse than a 7600GT. I'll go search some reviews and then edit.
EDIT: Okay, I didn't know the 8600GT sucked that hard. Sorry for giving false hopes. I wouldn't try it on your pc if I were you.

Well I am right on top of the recommended, but still, you might just get a medium quality with good fps.

I would have loved to see the actual requirements for High quality settings.

There were reviewers who could max it all out with the recommended settings. Atleast, that's what I've heard.

Or well, it was a 8800GT that they used, which is slightly better than the 8800GTS.

I was under the impresion the GTS had more ram. It's actually the card in this machine. Though I don't think I'll have too much problem running the game on high settings.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ @ 3Ghz
4 gigs of ram @ 3.25 (thank you windows bleh)
8800GTS 512 megs

I didn't know there was a 8800GTS with 512mb. I only know the 320 and 640mb versions. Later, they made the 8800GT, which had 512mb and was slightly faster (memory isn't the same a speed).

But your pc will be fine indeed, and probably maxes it out if you don't care about AA and a very high resolution.

It should do I hope :)

Actually you're right, I just dug out the box and it is indeed 320mb. I stand corrected. Shows how current I am these days on hardware. Still thinking I'll be fine considering I perfer to play at 1280x1024 (anything higher and I have to strain to read) and tend to not really notice jaggies all that much so AA isn't a huge deal to me. It should do perfect at 1280x1024. And Bioware made the same mistake (if it is not a mistake of mine, that is) with their specs. Weird (or I'm weird, which makes sense)

@Eccer: Probably not max, since your GPU isn't the best, but it will be prettier than on the consoles (I think).

Yeah I know,  I might change it further on. I had my pc repaired just few days ago. They had to change the processor due to errors with my other processor.

Aren't there actually like 3 or 4 posts like this on these forums? If not more?

No.

There are only people asking about their pc. And a few hours later someone else asks about his/her pc.

This topic is for everyone's pc, so it's a bit more organized.
