we get it chickenstorm, we get it haha ;)

You could always turn of shadows to improve performance if it isnt running fast enough for you aswell.

@ Miltos. Im not sure. the I7 souns like a decent core, however for its pricing i personally think they lack performance. I might wait a little longer till newer and more suited for gaming I7's are on the market.

personally I am looking into a new rig that contains

Cpu : I7

mobo : Asus, most like with 6-8 PCI-E 2.0 16x slots. Supporting over 16 GB ram

Ram : Corsair DDR3 or better. minimum of 8 GB, max of 16.

Videocard : 2x dx11 in SLI

PSu : 1000 Watt Zalman or other superior brand.

I don't see why you'd want an i7, unless you're doing some heavy professional stuff on it. It's big overkill for a gaming-rig.
You can never have enough RAM though, only shortage on money.
Oh and please [fanboymode] don't go for Nvidia. First of all, they don't even have DX11 cards yet, and it will take a while before they'll come. And secondly, I hate them, because they trick developers in making games semi-exclusive for their hardware (the Batman game). Support the open market! So just buy yourself 2x HD5870, or even 2x 5970 if you'd like (5970 is the name for the HD5870X2, but isn't out yet, it'll come somewhere in November)[/fanboymode]
And a 1000W PSU is overkill aswell, although not if you're going for a quad-GPU setup.

I know how to build :) As for the I7, im not certain on it yet. I know they arent optimal yet for gaming, but there getting there slowly. Also the pricing is insane and personally i dont find it worth it.

As for Nvidia? I used to be a Ati user, but there lack in decent hardware and constant errors in there drivers back in the days drove me away. Not to mention, Nvidia cards are in general slightly faster. Hence I went with nvidia. Also, Im a 3d user, something Ati simply doesnt provide yet.

As for the psu, im aware that you can run a I7 with a 500-650 power supply and a gtx 295 card aswell as peripherals. However a 1000 watt Zallman should be plentyfull for future upgrades.

One thing I have been thinking about is combing 2x GTX 295 and 1 Tesla card from nvidia. However I am not certain if the Tesla card would interact with the GTX 295 or any gaming videocard of that matter. I do know they work together with the Quadro's but...they arent suited for gaming

I'm not really into the professional market, so I'd have no idea. All I know is that Ati currently is the best for gamers, and that's the market I live in ;)

According to the Intel Roadmap all we can expect from them until they introduce their next architecture "Sandy Bridge" on a different platform, is the low end i3s and i5s as well as the $1K i9s which made me build a Socket AM3 platform with a Phenom II x4 955 and an ATI Radeon HD 5870. Until now, I had always been an Intel/nVidia person.

I hvae the option of any of the 3 platforms for the game. It sounds like PC is the best choice, all other things being equal.

Here's my PC:

Core 2 Duo 6600@2.4 GHz

2046MB RAM

GeForce 8600GT

Vista Home Premium SP2

How will the game run on my PC relative to 360/PS3?

Thanks for opinions.

@pharos. Set thepagefile of your virtual memory to about 1.5 GB minimal and 3 GB max virtual memory. You really dont need more. But in honestly anywhere between 512 Mb to 1.5 GB is also fine if you have 2gb or more.

It will run medium-highish depending on resolution.

Graphically, it will perform on par with consoles in terms of graphics, with the advantage of higher resolutions.

Choose the platform you would prefer playing on.

Scraping minimum requirements for the graphics card, resolution and settings will be low.

Compared to the rest of your hardware, the HD 4350 is really bad.

Make it at least ATI Radeon HD 4670 for very little and you are good to go.

No, HD4670 is a minimum if you're bying something new for DA :P

9400GT won't do any good anyway, minimum if you're very lucky.
