Just in case you are not joking, it is by far the single most important thing.

Then I must have one, since games like Aion work. I take a wild guess here and take for granted that a game like Aion requires quite good requirements.  But if I am wrong please tell me:)

In another post you said you have GeForce 105, well that is your video card. According to a quotation by the devs which was kindly provided by Yenkaz it can run the game but I suppose with a performance and settings that most people would not find acceptable.

I know that this question might be already asked, still i need to choose what version of the game to buy. Actually i have xbox360, ps3 and pc and i know for sure my pc hardware can run the game, still i have some question about the system. Actually i run a Windows7 64bit edition, i can't find in the specs if D.A. can run propelly under window7 64bit. Can someone reply, please. Thank you!

Start, in the search bar search for "dxdiag".

Copy info from "system" and "display" tab.

Well then it's not good news for me, been waiting for the game since July. But nonetheless, I thank you for putting out with my jibberish, both of you. If u have any tips on how I could make my comp better performance-wise, it would be really kind:)

How do you guys think my rig will handle this game, im worried about my CPU.

Athlon Duel Core 5400+ 2.8GhZ
3GB of Ram but im running on Vista
Geforce GTX 260

I was hoping to run it on high settings with a 1480 resolution any thoughts?

There is a bit of discussion as to the importance of CPU, but you should have no problems running high settings.

Well I'll find out tomorrow if an E8400 @ 3.6ghz w/285gtx is good enough or not to run 1680x1050 2xaa/8xaf and stay above 30fps vsync. I just want the game to be smooth and not microstutter or lag.

They were getting that kind of performance in the PC Games Hardware article out of an E6320 and an 8800 GT, I really don't see that you have anything to worry about.

Well, i donwloaded the character creator kit. It worked properly, still that don't give a prove about the full game compatibility. :(

There is only one solution, and that is to get another computer or a console.

The graphics card in the laptop was only really meant for office use and perhaps a few old games, and in this type of models, it is not replaceable.

You can run high settings on the PC.

Also, for everyone, notice on the link:

http://www.pcgamesha...uning/Practice/

They're using a Athlon 64 (x2?) 3200 + HD3850 and still running 20+ with max settings, 1280x024 with 1xAA + 16xAF

Is it just me or is the text in that article overly cautious? They recommend a 2.8 Ghz quad core for a 'lag-free experience' but in their results even an E6600 only dips into the high twenties.

Looking good. Obviously if the game is meant to run on the 360 and PS3, the PC requirements can't be all that high. Although you can crunch out higher settings on a PC it seems you don't really need a powerhouse to run it with high settings.

Funny how I got my Q6600 and 8800GT over 2 years ago. I remember at one time a 2 year old computer couldn't run squat anymore. Maybe the good effect of consoles is that PC gamers no longer need to upgrade every 2 years. Hurrah!

I don't think that's the reason for the low requirements, after all, the ports were only started last year. It's more that the game has been in development for a very long time.

That's probably the case with this game, but in general I've noticed that game requirements have really slowed down lately. Even the most requiring games seem to work well on a 2 year old computer, I don't even need to go near low graphics settings. I think this is in part due to the fact that many games are multiplatform, and that a powerful 2 year old computer is more powerful than current consoles.

I think you have a disproportionately powerful GPU compared to your ancient CPU. I suppose it will run, I don't know how much of a bottleneck the CPU will be. Medium settings?

Ok dont laugh because of my computer specs but I would like to know before I drop money on a game that wont run
Win 7
Intel Pent 4 2.6 Ghz
2.5 Gigs ram
ATI x1650 512mb video card
I know it is a stretch because of my outdated processor but I was hoping with the bit of extra RAM I have and the extra bit of video memory that this game would be playable. I can play FallOut 3 on high without any issues.

Well this is mostly for refrence.

Since i had my PSU crap out on me, had to go back to an older video card. So these are the current specs:

Athlon 64 3800+ (a single core proccesor)
3.2 gigs of ram (32 bit XP, max for it)
gefore 7300 SE

It runs the game at 1024x768. Everything on low, AA off. i get between 10-20 FPS.

Before PSU died on me, the video card was a gefore 9800 GTX+

Was able to run with everything at high with 1600x900 res. Cant comment on FPS since i didnt have fraps downloaded at the time. But it was noticeably faster then with the 7300. (guessing 30-40 FPS, im happy as long as it runs at 20+)
