First off I am a fan of Dragon Age Origins and Awakening. However I find that Dragon Age II is lacking some of the better qualities of the first game.
First and for most, I am enjoying the game. I am enjoying the combat motions and graphics of spells. It is more enjoyable than the first in that aspect.
However...
Why can't I equip armor on my team? Why is it preset?
Why can I not view character stats (strength, dex, etc.) in the inventory screen?
Why do I have a feeling the game is not going to take 40+ hours to beat? Thats including all the side missions.
Why is it so damn easy? Even on the hard difficulties the game seems to easy.
Why can I not be elf or dwarf?
Why is there no weapon 2 slots?
Why is it that rogues do not get to use swords!?!?!
Some of this just makes no sense to me, so I am posting this to see if it just me who thinks Origins is just the better game. Now I have not yet beaten this one, but so far if the game does not get better, or the idea of Bioware adding is some of the mention stuff up above on some patch, I have a feeling after I play through this once I am going to return it.
How do you guys feel?
