I wonder how you all who have to wait three extra days plan on making the time pass. Will you peek into the forum? Will you avoid it like the plague because possible spoilers?

I plan on staying away for the most part, but I know I will fail. It seems my clicker-finger has a life of its own, and doesn't respond to any willpower. Brain -> willpower-> clicker-finger = fail

That question certainly includes all other countries who have to wait, but I  wanted to keep the title brief. US Americans, feel free to point and laugh, but be prepared for the echoes.

I guess I'll try to pretend the game doesn't exist. That there is no forum where I could read how awesome the game is.

But since that's going to fail, I'll just hate Bioware for letting us wait 3 days.

i usualy get the game one or two days before the official release date in europe, but as i got work to do i will manage

My PC was stolen and I have to get my copy for the PS3, I don't even think there's a release date in Europe yet?

PS3 rel. date in Eu is 17th afaik.

Taking a week off from work on 1st, getting on a bus to Amsterdam on 2nd to pick up some chocolate, getting back on 4th .. and if my local shop wont have it on 4th as promised, probably stabbing the dude there 26 times and spending the rest of my life in jail .. else having a blast for the reminder of the week sleeping 3 hours a day.

Stalk our local gamedealer, who is usually kind enough to sell the game as soon as soon as it gets delivered, wich is usually around wednesday. Or earlier if we are really lucky.

Yeah, I know the feeling. Trying to live as if the game isn't even there, and bravely refusing to connect to the forums. Then I tell myself  "Okay, I'll just read the thread titles, because, really, I'm just checking for possible bugs and suches."

Relase date in Europe is 5 of November, I have ordered from Cdon and my local Spaceworld shop, both have the same date 5 of November Shaanjii.

I have that with so many things. You tell yourself that you're not going to do something, and three seconds later you're doing it...

I just hope all the spoilers will stay out of this forum and in the 'spoilers forum'. And else I hope there will be some very strict mods out here, so they'll protect us from the spoilers.

Well, I'll propably avoid the social site and the community (somehow) and spend those days doing something productive... maybe... duhh.

Luckily, most of the US players who get it a few days earlier will be too busy playing it to post too many spoilers I would think. A week or so after release I would start to worry about internet spoiler leaks. Even avoiding the forums can't necessarily avoid spoilers as they will creep across the net, but I think you'll be relatively safe for a few days at least..

Hey not a bad idea, that. I mean not the prowling the forums for promo items, what I mean by that is that the toolset forum might be relatively safe. From what I can see, it works a lot like the NWN2 toolset (I could be so very wrong though, I barely glanced at it as of yet), and I could make modding plans. I'm a lousy scripter, so I could practice some more.

One can only hope that the US people are to busy to play to explode onto the forums.

I so know what you mean. I wish us both the best of luck. Although watching G.W. sounds entertaining.
