I'l probably dive riiiight into two heavy books of colourtheory (Runge&Goethe ;) ), get my laptop out of sight and avoid these forums for a week.

Will be hard, but I really do not want to know anything before not playing it myself..

Yep.. will do the same.. not the same books, but the rest ..

Well, I may post here to say hi from time to time, and I imagine others will too. I very much hope that people can keep their spoiler posts in the spoiler forum.

I had the clicking disease before though, I managed to heal it by creating other activites besides staring at the screen all the day.
So 3 extra days, shoud be no problem at all.  Posted Image

Sadly, based on past experience with game forums, that seems very unlikely. There will always be someone who posts giant spoilers (perhaps even in the thread title) in the wrong forum, and the moderators won't be able to catch everything. I think the best course of action is to stay away for a few days.

I have already catched some spoilers from game reviews, so every day I say to myself: "Stop looking for the new info about DA:O", but unfortunately it does not work... So I guess days between the US release and European release will be the most difficult. I can't even play another game like NWN or BG now - all thoughts are about DA:O only.... The waiting is terrible=\\

However I will try to complete the next chapter of my NWN fanfic - I'm afraid now is the last chance to do it before I'm completely lost in Dragon Age.

Now that's dedication.

I am sorry that some of the consoles have to wait that long. The 20th? Bummer, big time.

Edit: Stupid quoting.... thing.

That blows, I would have got it on PS3 myself, but as they aren't releasing it any time soon, i will grab it for the xbox 360, see if i can hear people speak over the sound the damn thing makes.

Can always trade it for the PS3 version at a later date :)

The worst thing for me is, it comes out on friday, and i dont think ill have any money till monday :)
I will have to avoid forums for a long time, just go avoid the spoilers that sad people will no doubt plaster all over the net.

Rofl @ all the 'stay away from the forum' replies.

It'll be so hard....

Maybe we can form a support group, encouraging each other to stay way from the forums until we get the game too. But then again, we might just tire of whining at each other, and hating on the US and Bioware (only temporary, I assure you).

Well, as long as the USA won't see us as a terrorism organisation, I don't see the problem of a 'Europeans hating Bioware'-group.

We could make fun of the USA in that group, if we're tired of hating Bioware/whining at each other. And if we're lucky, the USA people will make a USA-group, so we can have gang fights.

Enough to do without DA =D

I'm Canadian, but I pre-ordered off Amazon.ca, which means I have to wait a couple extra weeks (if they take their time with shipping).

I plan on attempting to beat some of my older games, I have a backlog of DS games that I need to beat. (I like to beat at least one game before starting on another, it's a weird habit I have).

Unless the strategy guide comes a little earlier, then I plan on reading the sections with the extra lore.
Oh, and I'm reading some of the textbooks I never read a lot in university. I'm also thinking of picking up the DA:O novels, but the last time I picked up a video game tie-in I was very disappointed (I hate you, Hellgate: London) so I'm hoping these ones are better.

I wonder how you all who have to wait three extra days plan on making the time pass. Will you peek into the forum? Will you avoid it like the plague because possible spoilers?

The second option! I don't want to accidentally slip into a spoiler (a single topic heading could be enough), and I can go three days without the DAO forums... hopefully ;) Besides, I'll be building the new PC I plan to play DAO on, so that'll keep me busy!

I´ll look for streams on ustream.com or justin.tv
Can´t get more spoiled than I already am by the Bioware stream^^
I just hope I get the game on next weeks friday, so I can play through the weekend.

Thanks for the hiccups. Gawd, I like you, you have such a healthy sense of humour.

Well, we'll see about that, won't we? I wonder if I can catch you in the forums before the European release date.

On another note, I do envy people who can build their own PC (no, not Player Character, darn it).
