If you're getting errors when just copying the files off the disc in Explorer, then most likely your drive has worn out and needs replacing. Especially if it's happening at about the same place on different discs.

I got a new drive and it worked, thank you.

Since the old one didn't give me any trouble besides those games thus I I though it  not likely to be the problem.

Hey Kunkryst - In case it's a wider-spread problem, what was the make and model of that drive?

Hey everyone, is anyone STILL having installer issues after going through the suggestions in this thread? They are:

- run as admin
- have Win7 SP1 + .net 4.0
- create a new user account and run it from that
- if you have an older dvd drive, copy the files to a USB stick and install from that

if all else fails let me know. In the mean time, you can try downloading through EADM

(note: issues with digital activation may require patch 1.01)
