i have the same problem i can get to kirkwall with auto save off but as soon as i save back to save loop of death

I was able to reach Kirkwall but got stuck further in. I have a multicore machine and DA2 was using all cores. I fixed it by turning off UAC.

Optimist here! We'll get this fix quick. Just ten minutes ago, we had a Bioware representative telling us it was being worked on. They know about the problem. So many people (the most popular bug!) must mean that they will allocate many resources to fixing this for us.
It'll work out! We'll have our sexy, kick-ass Hawke by tomorrow!

Cannot save here just like everyone else, I am also running a single core Saving loop of death is what I get right before I can even get to Kirkwall. Big waste of 60 dollars at this point T__T

we shouldnt have to wait on post release patches to make a game playable/saveable. this is starting to become the norm with most games and its a shame more ppl arnt upset about it.

 I have a small problem where my computer crash completley(restarts and my video card fan runs as hard as it can) in the video right after where you can customize your character, I don't know if it's because a weak vidoe card or just bug??
