I prefer ManShep too and I really believe Shepard is more convincing as a male,but I don't think FemShep should be removed,especially after being in first two games.

Mass Effect is all about choices.Saying that FemShep should be removed is like saying all classes except for Soldier should be removed (I said Soldier,because it's default).
