as we all know female shepard is superfluous to say the least. I have no problems with females, but female shepard is just too much for me to stomach. I do not care about which gender I play as, though I chose male as a default because I like the shepard best that we see in the commercials. That is the true shepard.
Femshep is a waste of space on the disc and needs to go, bioware. I am writing you so you now what the fans truly feel in their hearts. Before you start developing mass effect 3 please remove the idea for femshep, do this before it is too late. hopefully this useless content can be replaced with something more worthwhile, and male shepard can become the new standard for all players, thank you for doing this bioware

EDIT: P.S. All you angry femshep fans do realize that you're a very small minority? According to BW's own research, 80% of those who played ME1 played as the default Shepard. When you consider the custom male Shepards, less than 10% probably play as female Shepard. BW were right to not give her any custom animations and not use her in marketing, because the large gaming audience doesn't care about femshep.

If they hadn't uncluded her in the first place then this would be a non-issue. The fact that they did means that they would be completely out of order to remove her now. Not that Bioware ever would.
Anyway, Jennifer Hale is an awesome voice actress so she deserves to be in the game.

I'm not saying that they should actually remove her now. Just not devote any resources in custom animations or femshep dialogue... Jennifer Hale does more girly characters like Bastila better. She tries too hard to sound tough as Shepard.

Why not? It's not like it takes much effort. In fact, not different dialogue makes no sense at all considering Jennifer Hale is voicing it regardless, it wouldn't take much extra effort.
She also needs her own animations. Her body size and shape is different from MaleSheps and should be different accordingly.
Again, it hardly takes much effort.

Well, I'm no expert, but I'd just not see resources get wasted on something 90% of players don't care about.
