But yeah, I wouldn't trade Alistair for my girlfriend, for obvious reasons. But he'd be an awesome friend to have.

If Alistair were real, no. For so many reasons. And I really like his voice actor and I find the model visually appealing and I like the writing a lot and I felt he works with my characters, so it's not a negative thing, except for how my first endgame turned out--that was very emotional and very real. But that just makes it all the more compelling, in a way.



Besides, Cullen and Bann Teagan are way more fun in SO many ways.



The characters in the game are great, best I've ever seen in a game actually, but anyone who would seriously trade their real life boyfriend or husband (or girlfriend or wife) for one of them needs to ask themselves some serious questions about whether they're fulfilled in their relationship. I'm thinking the answer would be "no."

I love Alistair's voice actor and dialogue, but I don't think I'd be trading any real life people for a person made of pixels. Besides, if you do read all of his dialogue, he's a bit of a wimp. Sure, kills darkspawn and all that, but I have a feel that without the PC he wouldn't even be able to tie his shoes.

Alistair is a great character but I have a problem with him.

Why does he have the same hairstyle as me?

What's he going to do next, bust out an iphone? 

I remember making my char and thinking "wowo cool they have my exact hairstyle."

Well it's a toss up between Morrigan and Tali'Zorah Nar Rayya from Mass effect

Both are very 'interesting' in their own way.

Alistair is a good guy in a bad situation an keeps it together.

His reluctance to be what everyone says he must be..Means he is the right guy for the job

He is obviously modeled by a woman who understands human psychology.

If i had a son he would be a fine one to have
