Would anyone trade in their boyfriend/husband for Alistair?

Said what needed to be said.
But yeah, I wouldn't trade Alistair for my girlfriend, for obvious reasons. But he'd be an awesome friend to have.

Besides, Cullen and Bann Teagan are way more fun in SO many ways.
The characters in the game are great, best I've ever seen in a game actually, but anyone who would seriously trade their real life boyfriend or husband (or girlfriend or wife) for one of them needs to ask themselves some serious questions about whether they're fulfilled in their relationship. I'm thinking the answer would be "no."

I ask because I was listening to the gamers with jobs podcast, and one of the guys in the discussion was talking about his wife who was also playing the game, and she told him about Alistair - "I think he's the one"
and then all the guys were like oh no
left in the dust by a game char.
So who out there would ditch who you were with for Alistair?
Well, I return the same question for Morrigan, I saw a lot of fan of her in forums
In my opinion, no, I won't trade my boyfriend because it's my PC who deserve Alistair :innocent:

Way I figure it, My husband would be more than distracted with Leli or Morrigan. So I can play with Alistair.
I wont say Zev as well, because he is essentially a blonde version of a friend of mine. Short, funny, shameless, sexy, eviiiil and sodding *lethal*. Who is about as far away from a brainless surfer boy as you can possibly get.

Why does he have the same hairstyle as me?
What's he going to do next, bust out an iphone?
I remember making my char and thinking "wowo cool they have my exact hairstyle."

Haha! Zev is awesome. He was one of my favourite guys to bring along.
Indeed, loved the sarcasm, and the Antonio Banderas vibes. Besides, he wouldnt dare to leave me. He might escape the Antivan Crows, but not me.

*wistful sigh* Why cant Alistair be real?
If it's any consolation, he was totally based upon me but downgraded a little so as not to overwhelm.

Now, for Gorim - or at least someone with his voice and attitude, but maybe a little taller

Alistair's only shortcoming is him being a wuss. I mean, srsly, no matter if you are gallant, hardcore, evil, good, what kinda pansy says "i'm not ready" if a hot chick asks him to do the dirty in a tent.
The serious commitment argument wont fly here. He is a guy.
I mean, c'mon, even his response is girly.
Wait, wait, wait.
Did you play a female character and try to have sex with Alistair? So, uh, he gets you hot too, huh? >.<

In that case, I agree with the first response to this post: I would gladly trade in my obnoxious blue heeler for Alistair.

Why can't he be real? I've said it before about other anime/game characters but..
Ah a girl can dream
Also wouldn't mind hiring zev to kill the annoying maltese terrier across the road that NEVER shuts up...
Next time i throw water over it i'm adding blue food colouring...or pink...HA take that evil mongrel!
(I love dogs by the way have 3 of them spoilt rotten but this yappy thing drives me insane it never shuts up)

I wish I had a Mabari if anything. Alistair would make a good friend because he doesn't get offended at every little remark.
I think having a Mabari would be awesome. They are playful yet very fierce and such a strong appearance:D

Both are very 'interesting' in their own way.
Been married twice so i think i have some idea. My daughter is probably older than either tho so i
have to be carefull
Alistair is a good guy in a bad situation an keeps it together.
His reluctance to be what everyone says he must be..Means he is the right guy for the job
He is obviously modeled by a woman who understands human psychology.
If i had a son he would be a fine one to have
Phaze91 Yeh poor 'Chuffles' only gets out now and then.. i bring hm bones and he's still trying to dig through the planet..
