I ask because I was listening to the gamers with jobs podcast, and one of the guys in the discussion was talking about his wife who was also playing the game, and she told him about Alistair - "I think he's the one"
and then all the guys were like oh no
left in the dust by a game char.
So who out there would ditch who you were with for Alistair?
lol. No, my husband is my dream man. He really is a truly great guy. I didn't know they came in his variety and love him more than anything in the world. So much so that I left my home country in Canada to be by his side in the United States.
Although, I do have to say that Alistaire is attractive.

My pixel crush on alistair reached a whole new level last night when i had a dream about him. Someone invent a machine to make him real!
Went out with a guy like Alistair. Even looked like Alistair. He was all cutsey, willing to give you the lead and when you made decisions he got angry with you. He used childish humour to cover lots of baggage, was manipulative in a "poor me, you should do this, that, and everything else sob sob so iron my shirt for me!" He was a slime, basically. Alistair gives me the creeps.

i like alistair insofar as he reminds me of my husband - funny, sweet, slightly bashful, but he could kick your a**. my guy won me over when he quoted The Gods Must Be Crazy to me, "when i'm around a beautiful woman, my fingers become thumbs..." i laughed and blushed and was utterly lost. so yeah - the only game char who comes even close to my guy, but my guy beats him out, hands down.
lol Alistair reminds me of my husband too, sweet, funny, charismatic, a total goof, but with a lot of courage. So while Alistair does in fact make me swoon far too much for a video game character, he's still no match for the real thing.
I completely agree with you both. I have my very own Alistair at home and my man is even better than the char. It's great and I love my husband so stinkin much!!!

Although, I would like to trade my Alistair for anything, even Cailan's corpse if it will get him out of my stinking party.
-100 and he still sticks around until you know...
WHY!?!?!?
You can tell Morrigan to leave. She does. Then you see her later at the crucial conversation, etc. Why not Alistair? I feel like I am forced to be his friend.
