Who did you bring?

They mentioned in the dialog right before the party selection screen comes up things that implied choosing certain people matter.

I don't want this to be another Deep Roads where I didn't bring Anders and Bethany died.

Care to share who you brought? Minor spoilers are fine but I don't want you to spoil the whole Fade quest.

When does the fade begin in Act 1, 2, or 3? Also please name if it is early on mid or near the end of the act it is in.

Varric? I thought about taking him, but since Merrill asked in a cute way I took her instead. I also thought hard and long on bringing Isabela with me. Does anything interesting happen with her?

Anyway, the people I brought with me were Anders, Fenris, and Aveline. Nothing so disastrous happened, except for two of them waking up well before the Fade sequence was done. xD

When you say you regret taking Merril, is it like you regret it to the point where I regretted bringing Bethany and having her die; or just like a little thing?

When you say you regret taking Merril, is it like you regret it to the point where I regretted bringing Bethany and having her die; or just like a little thing? 

It's just alittle thing that earned me some good chunk of rivalry points from her, but it's still kind of shocking seeing what she does/attempts to do.

Desire demon tempts her with a ship and she agrees to it, funny thing: the snarky (middle) option has Hawke admit :I can't compeate with that" and even though Isabela side with the demon I got +5 friend points

so you mean you dont kill her when you fight her? i thought the betrayal would take her out of the game for me. i had to leave before i finished the fade. if she does die or turn into a tranquil im just gonna restart it.

I was actually hoping it'd turn her tranquil, then I could have a tranquil Dalish First doing laundry in my house the rest of the game.... but no, she just wakes up early.  I mean, I liked merril, but if she was going to turn on me like that, she deserves some tranquility.

I took Aveline, Merrill, and Isabela. I felt gipped.

It wasn't too exciting. I had Aveline, Varric, and Anders, whole thing was done in around 5 minutes. i'm not suggesting we have another 2-hour long labrynthine "guide-dang it" Fade experience, but we could have done a little more. I sort of almost enjoyed the massively long fade sequence in Origins... on my second time through, when I knew where to go to progress, and knew to do the mages tower ASAP to get all of the free stat bonuses. Made a total cakewalk of the rest of the game.

Seb asked not to go so I didn't bring him. Got a +10 friendship for that.
Fenris didn't want to go, brought him anyway. Pride demon tempted him. Got a based conversation later about it.
Brought Anders, and Justice came out during the Fade.

I took Anders, Merill, and Isabella. Rivalry points with both women, but later got that back with some nice heart-to-hearts.

I took Merrill, Isabella, and Aveline. Didn't get any rivalry points for taking them, but Merrill's past made for some interesting stuff happening

2/3 of my party turned on me, forcing me to put them down like dogs. At least they apologized later.

I took Varric, Merrill and Aveline. Merrill and Aveline turned on me, but I received no rivalry points.
Had an almost maxed out friendship with both of them, so maybe that is the reason.
(Also, i suspect that your party members will turn on you no matter who you bring.)

Varric and Isabela tempted by the demons.

I guess Anders is the only char that cannot be tempted.

Barrels are pretty easy. One has to be a 2x2 box like another one in the same room. Another one wants the real barrels on the bottom, instead of the tiny ones.
