hm, I sleept with Isabella and answered it was only fun. So does that mean, that the romance isn't possible? I actually wanted Fenris, but he doesn't want me as I sleept with Isabella. So I tried Anders and he asked me about Isabella, who also comforted me after my mum's death. So, does that mean Isabella is still available or is the "Must" in the guide a real Must? As I got the archievemt for starting a romance with someone anyway.

Lol. I've been trying to get that scene as well (except for the rivalmance.) This is the friendmance version of the conversation after you kill Denarius. Your friendship should be at 100%, or you won't get this.

That's wrong, actually. I had 100% rivalry with Fenris and I got that scene. It was exactly the same except for different dialogue choices leading up to the first "flirt" option.

That's probably because you were romancing Anders, not Fenris. When I romanced Anders, no one confronted me about him. Isabela and Varric talked about it in a seperate companion "quest" conversation as they do with any LI character.

However, in a different mage playthrough, I romanced Fenris and thats when Anders confronted me.

This is not my character, playthrough nor video....but this is exactly what happened in my playthrough with Fenris.

LOL yes. ;D I was expecting Zevran to say 'Oh, I see you already have a handsome elf' or something like that. Can't deny that I was a bit disappointed all he did was passively back off without his usual remarks."


Wait, Zevran makes a cameo appearance?!  I totally missed that!  I did almost all of the side quests.  When does this happen?

Zevran appears in the act 3 quest "A Murder of Crows", given by Nuncio in front of the Blooming Rose in Hightown. I believe the quest will not appear if you imported a game where Zevran was killed.

can someone confirm exactly when you finish Izzys romance in Act 3, i know i have to talk to her in the Gallows during 'Last Straw' so does she have to be in my group for this or do i get asked to speak to her at the in the Gallows?

You finish it the same way you finish any of the romances. Before beginning the final boss battles in the Gallows while doing "The Last Straw" quest, you'll have an opportunity to talk to all of your (remaining) companions before telling whoever you sided with that you are ready. That's when you complete the romance.

It's a damn shame that Fenris cannot move in with you . . . I always thought he would, seeing that he always visites you (If you romance him). . But still, Least he comes by now and again

It isn't necessary to continue the romance after hoisting her mainsail to obtain the outfit. However, as of patch 1.02, you still need to make her drink a Maker's Sigh potion in order for the outfit to show up properly.

if I slept with merril but didn't invite her to move in ie Hawke didn't say I love you back, while in bed with merril. Merril left estate... is it possible to still gain full romance with Merril?

Effectively if you sleep with Anders or Merrill and keep them, you will break all other romances currently active. They're Romance Juggernaughts. That being said, if you sleep with either and then send them packing, they're going to never forgive you. Ever. Also, Fenris won't come back, because you're a creepy abominiation/blood mage lover. Its possible that Isabela also wont ever come back.

No it isn't. If you ever choose a heartbreak icon, it will end the relationship permanently.

That depends on whether you've finished the other things. The romance completes if Hawke chooses to talk about love after sex with Isabela, Hawke completes both Questioning Beliefs quests (50% and 100% approval), and talks to her at the end of the game. Also, if Hawke sleeps with Merrill or Anders (even if she breaks it off afterwards), Isabela's romance ends.
