A conversation with Sebastian at the Gallows Prison or Gallows Courtyard will lead to the conclusion you seek.
Can anyone tell me what he is supposed to say during this scene if you did everything right, including the spoilerific thing? Because he declared his love for Hawke and all that and she accepted, but all I got during the gallows scene was "In another life, you and me... Let's not dwell on that."
What the hell? Where'd that marriage proposition of yours go? :/ I think I might've messed up, or at least I hope I did because that would be very lazy writing and a weird retcon.

Where is exactly the Book of Shartan? Cause I'm in act 2 and I got find any sack in the Alienage
Ok first it needs to be at night then just as you come down the stairs take a left it should be right there NOT in the little outcove but just before it.
Another question is the 50% and moving in thing. I did the personal quest with that mage lady and Fenris pinned my mage against the wall, and...yeah...anyways, I have him at 100% friendship, it looks. What part is the mid-way for the Questioning Beliefs bit? Cause got where Isabella visited Fenris, talking about tax collector but that was basically right after I entered Act 2, of course (I am really wishing I had gotten the bloody guide now XD)
Ah as far as I can tell, you either already hit it or just about to; from what the books says (which isn't much >_< either that or I'm missing something which is likely lol) Just keep talking to him and it should pop up just make sure to hit those heart lines lol. I'll post more if I find anything else but from the looks of it you should have it happen soon.

It is possible to get Fenris to move in? Will he only do it if you are on freindship path? Cuz I went rival and I haven't gotten that option. We've been intimate though, after that he made it seem as though we broke up but I'm not sure since I can't talk to him again for clarification because the new system is fail.I miss being able to talk to my companions when I wanted.
Yes you can get him to move in, no you can go either way on the scale. You must have at least 50% and for it to remain that or higer to get him to move in... Seemed as though you broke up? Erm, all I can say is keep playing to see what happens? Sorry I can't be of much help.

Fenris has only talked to me after the "break up" to comfort me after the super sad personal quest (not mentioning in case it will still spoil someone).
So yeah I'm worried, I had no idea he was even supposed to move in with you at this point...if I'll play more after work and see, if not I'll hopefully reload an older save. But I've been relying on quick and auto save too much lately so might not help me

FENRIS ROMANCE<3
To see a romance with Fenris through to its conclusion, you must satisfy the following requirements.
....
3: If you are on the rivalry path, you must ally yourself with the templars. If you are on the friendship path, you can convince Fenris to stay if you choose to support the mages. Speak with him at the Gallows Prison or Gallows Courtyard in The Last Straw to complete the romance.
Really? But I go the rivalry path with Fenris by siding with the mages throughout the game, right? And if I do it in the end, he'll actually leave? But...but.... is there no way to convince him to stay if we're in a rivalry romance and I support the mages in the end?

Fenris is stuck in the middle and nowhere near 50% and I'm wondering if I'm screwed.

I'm a little confused. This "Questioning Beliefs mid-stage relationship conversation" that the guide is referring to...is it talking about the conversations that you have with all your companions at the BEGINNING of Act 2 or is it somewhere in the middle or the end of Act 2?

Well did that happen at the very beginning of Act 2 or was it later on?

It was right after his personal quest, "Bitter Pills" or something called that. Went to my place, he was there; he was gonna leave, my mage grabbed him and he pushed her to the wall (while glowing) then started makin' out before she turned and pinned him XD. Then the screen went black and my mage is in bed, Fenris up and dressed. And that's where the convo starts...kattykit87 wrote...

First off I think the fade to black was very well done, there was no awkward looking scenes and the make out scene was pretty damn hot.
Secondly, I'm pretty sure though that there's gonna be a shown scene later on but I could be wrong.

So I am in Act 2 and I gave him the Shartan book and flirted with him during "Questioning Beliefs."

It's hard to say. I didn't give him the book and he visited my house very early in Act 2.
But you do need to have a specific conversation with him at his mansion, where you flirt with him.

edit: if you mean where I flirt wit him, I had a conversation with him (the last one I had) where he told me about him being a slave and when I pushed the sex flirtations, he said "maybe another night," but I did gain approval with him.

How specific are we talking? :/
Edit: I think that is the conversation I mean. Think you need 50% friendship/rivalry and to visit your home at night, to get the scene at your home.
Beyond that I don't think I can help sorry :/

I don't thinkw e should trust that guide all that much. It said that Fenris would mvoe in to your home during Act 2, and while I'm not done with Act 2 yet I don't think it's gonna happen. There're also others saying that the romance continues in Act 3 with the moving but what do I know until I get there myself...which I hopefully will when I get from work....in 1½ hours!

I didn't know he could move in though, and I didn't get him the gift in act 2 (I had been playing for like 12 hours straight and got tired of looting everything), but the romance still completed, I sided with the templars, beat the game, and all was well in my world. I also didn't get a scene like the initial romance screenshot, but that might be because I didn't find the first gift. It's also very good to know that I don't have to lose him when I'm romancing Anders in a later playthrough. I managed to get both Fenris and Anders to 100% friendship somehow, and I took Fenris everywhere and only started bringing Anders along about halfway through the game. I really hope we can side with the templars as a mage, though. Otherwise this is going to end up super awkward.

A little clarification for Fenris lovers: If he's got a red piece of cloth tied to his wrist, you did something right. I only noticed it at the end of Act 2, went 'what *is* that? Did he have that before?' and went through my screenshots. Before we, ah, did the deed, there was no cloth. Digging through my screenshots I'm pretty sure that right after the 'incident' the cloth appeared.

I did notice that cloth! Now I'm curious as to what it is. Any clues?
I initially had problems with Fenris because he started disagreeing with every decision I made and it's hard as a mage to sentence them to their deaths unless they're maleficarum. But I got into a good rhythm and both Anders and Fenris are at 100% friendship, so it wasn't as hard as I initially tohugh, even when bringing them both along in my party.
Then again, I'll still have to see what Act 3 brings along. I'm hoping there's more interaction, because though what DA2 has, feels very little. And since I could spend hours just talking to my party in Origins and it was the highlight of the game for me, it's turning out to be my only disappointment with the game so far.
DoomedFish, what did you think about Fenris comforting Hawke after You-Know-What? I was relieved that there actually was a scene, but it felt a bit lacking.
