Has anyone had any luck with a SUCCESSFUL Sebastian romance? Does he at least kiss you?

I'd also like to know. I'm pondering making him my next LI, but I'm taking my sweet time for another playthrough. I want to know how that works out before I have misplaced time.

It isn't reassuring that all the people who have so far had romances with him haven't said anything about any intimacy between the two of you, nor is it that the only thing I've heard of so far is for him to remark the whole 'In another life...' line at the end of it all. Image IPB

I'm hoping it's just a glitch or a result of a bad choice.

Sebastion is of the Chantry type. Kissing is all you get to do. Not really a fun character.

Next game, I'm trying to Friendship Romance Fenris. Has anyone successful got him to move in? I really want to see how his character changes.

Kissing is better than nothing, I was hoping we wouldn't be reduce to like... holding hands.

I hope the same. I'd rather try more promising romances and do his last if it really is all we get.

So there is kissing? :D As long as there's promising dialogue at the end, I'll be content.

I haven't gotten him to move in, nope. That "Stay with me" is the only thing I believe worth mentioning. I don't know how I could've done it any other way either so I'm a bit mystified.

So far, no one has and I haven't gotten him to move in either. Maybe it's not possible?

Maybe exchanging steamy "I <3 U" notes during study hall?

I'm starting to think that if it is, it's not active. Mods will probably have to activate it.

I guess it makes sense. He isn't socialable. And he seems very keen on staying in his mansion. Is he the only character that won't move in with you?

Thank you so much for posting this! Guess male Hawke isn't going to even bother with Sebastian, which is too bad.

Sebastian's nothing but a selfish bastard anyway. All he cares about is getting back his prince title. He likes revenge, has a hero complex, and forces you to kill Anders.

Anders is a domestic terrorist and  mass murderer, who destroys Sebastian's surrogate home and everyone he was close to. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't hesitate to kill the bastard that murdered my friends. And I sure as hell wouldn't join forces with him.

Not for me (friendship romance on a mage character). It was obvious to me that mage got a few extra lines, particulary when flirting with him and he asked if it bothered Hawke he was a slave. The mage reply was asking if it bothered him Hawke was an apostate. Touche.  =p

Not to mention Sebastian, later on, really isn't deadset about being a prince. He's actually way too complacent. So their line of argument is rather faulty.

I heard that you get a nice Friendship bump to Isabella if you take her into the fade with you, can anyone confirm that?

FENRIS ROMANCE:wub:<3
To see a romance with Fenris through to its conclusion, you must satisfy the following requirements.

1: Reach 50% friendship or rivalry, then flirt with Fenris during the Questioning Beliefs mid-stage relationship conversation. If the friendship or rivalry level remains at least 50% Fenris will subsequently visit the Hawke Estate if you return at night. Flirt with him to trigger the romance. The next step is to ask him to move in.

2: Complete remaining companion quest and dialogues, give him both gifts, reach 100% friendship or rivalry, then complete the Questioning Beliefs final-stage relationship conversation before the start of The Last Straw.

3: If you are on the rivalry path, you must ally yourself with the templars. If you are on the friendship path, you can convince Fenris to stay if you choose to support the mages. Speak with him at the Gallows Prison or Gallows Courtyard in The Last Straw to complete the romance.

Are you sure about this with Fenris?  Because I saw a series of YouTube videos of a Fenris rival romance that ended with Fenris helping you side with the mages (and all the other mushy goodness that occurs in that scene).  I've also read in various places that a maxed rival Fenris will still fight with you against the templars at the end.  Just want to check, since I tend to play mage, which obviously leads to Fenris not liking me as much.

So is the romance outcome (scenes that we see) the same no matter if it's a rivalry or friendship romance??

I have a couple of questions.....I'm doing the Anders romance and he's at 100% friendly. (Hey! My sister was a mage, and my father was too!)

Act 2, go to talk to him, he mentions the whole driving him nuts, I say "but what if I like teasing you" then go do some quests, go back to HawkeMansion, and Anders comes in. Banter happens, then he grabs her face and initiates a kiss....then they hop in bed. Making out on on the bed fully clothed, fade to black. Next scene is standing near fireplace and he declares love, she declares love, discuss moving in.....and now Anders is in his clinic still saying "I don't know if I can do this." His manifesto is on the desk in the library, click on it and Hawke says something oike "Ah, Ander's manifesto, he's really working hard on this.", and there are no burned pages anywhere.

*ouch*

Isabella, Varric, and Mom all have something to say baout being invloved with Anders. Even Avaline makes mention of it during her Questioning Choices quest (which by the way I LOVED!)

I haven't given him any gifts yet....only gifts I've given were Bethany and Isabella.

Me thinks I screwed it up. Well.....time to finish Act 2 and get onto Act 3 to find out. Have I? Have I screwed it up?

I'm pretty much in the same boat. Do people even comment on the romance? I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I go and spend the time trying to wrap my mind around playing a pro-templar Hawke. Unfortunately, few people seem to have completed the romance, so that leaves a whole lot of questions unanswered.

Yeah, I took her with me to the Fade and she turned on me in there. Afterwards I went to speak with her and forgave her for it, and it got me 15 friendship points (I think).

Confirmed, since she's one of the betrayers.

I think they did a good job modifying the standard conversations to fit. Fenris still asks if Hawke minds regardless of class, but the response option as a non-mage is something more generic about not minding at all.

Yeah I'm cranky that my mansion seems a little buggy. Maybe because my rogue's a hobag flirting with anything that moves. Aveline made me feel extra skanky because she referenced my one night stand with Isabela when I'm actually making a long game play for Fenris. And Merrill's smitten so I'm avoiding going back to the mansion at night until I hear someone's result on multiple romances involving the menfolk.

I just saw that video too. Fenris will only side with the mages if the rivalry is maxed. He will do this even if he's not being romanced.:o

This makes more sense to me than the guide does.  Didn’t the writers say that the only way to
change someone’s point of view on something was the rival path?

You just made my day.  I started to metagame to get Fenris in a friendship and it just felt so wrong as a mage to be all, "well, *you* have to go to the Circle, but *I* don't."  And then there was the time when I bribed a grieving father for hush money over his mage daughter just to get +10 friendship with Fenris :(.  The things I've done for that brooding elf...

If this has been answered in another thread, I apologize.

I am in Act 2, in the Alienage at night and still cannot find the sack that contains the book for Fenris. The Alienage is only so big, and it’s simply not there. It may be a glitch, but I am wondering if someone can tell me if you have to obtain it during a certain quest. Could someone also tell me where in relation to Merrill’s home it can be found.

I would appreciate it.

Edit:

Odd, I shut off the game and restarted it and it’s there. Maybe because I was experiencing the graphics bug where everything is white, so it wasn’t showing up. Anyway, I found it.

A couple of questions. I have just finished personal beliefs quest with Merril, and have asked her to move in.  WHy is she still in her residence in the Alienage?  (I am still playing through Act 2)  Also, I can't get Ilen in the dalish camp to trade with me for her gift.  Is there something I must do to get him to trade?
