I don't really care about Sandhal, but for some reason I liked that Bodahn was around the estate and would comment on recent events whenever you got home.
Like an episode of Upstairs Downstairs....
I know, it made the house feel a bit more alive =) Bodahn is always so kind. Do you know what happened to Bodahn and Sandal in the end of the game. Only finished one complete Hawke and I can't remeber if they dissapear from the house prior to all the mayhem in Act 3. Hope they did.

Bodahn is no where to be seen but Sandal again appears with the shop items close to when you have the final battle. (This time the room he is in is littered with demon and abomination bodies.)

I kind of like sandal's new VA. At first I almost hated it, but it grew on me. As for his new look, I can live with it though he does look older (even more lyrium-addled?), as for Bodahn if he dies from old age or something before DA3 he better go out accompanying someone important or helping in another world-saving conflict.
I don't think Sandal's VA changed. Sandal has always been voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.
