I understand accumulating all the bugs, and fixing them with a sizable update/ patch. But get the Hot Fix on the Save, Load problem, for the love of god, the most essential problem of them all. I'm sure were upset about the other various problems, and I can assume every else understands the delays due to the enormous amount of problems, Except, were unable to save and Load, that’s crucial.

Bioware/EA: At least give the people who bought and registered this game (PC) upcoming fix pre-patch, a choice of special in game item, i.e. Weapon, armor, etc, reward to compensate for our disappointment, just a heartfelt suggestion.

There would really by no real way to tell who bought the game and had that problem.

Ok, Laymens terms. Everyone that Has "registered the PC Version of the game, at top, Games - Dragon Age II - Register Game. Every one that has done this prior to the upcoming patch should be rewarded a in game item (Special reward). Believe me thats why you enter a 20 Digit Code, and playable access is granted (Online Connection) is necessary... To play the game.. Bioware knows exactly how many people have registered the game.

oh to add, Im sure those 10'ish people who are playing this game right now on the PC as is, with no proplems. I would assume 80% or better is suffering some sort of bug etc. It would be smart business sense to go with the Miscontent masses and reward everyone a bonus, I dont believe the unsatisfied % is going to complain that the minority who can run the game get something either.

Frankly I'm getting tired of this malarkey. The DLC NEVER works as its supposed to, and it all ultimately costs us more money. How about a standalone game that actually works? You know, like Baldur's Gate? DLC simply means we get games that have pared down plotlines that require us to keep downloading interminable bollocks from developers. Mass Effect 2 was a prime example (easy, incredibly short). I want something that has depth, breadth and girth. More importantly, it should essentially stand on its own two feet and be worth what we pay for it.

Witcher 2 here I come.

Hey guys we should be thankful they are taking there time to make a fix for us single core users and mutil core users (that are stioll not able to fix there problem). I'm glad they are though I am frusrated that they didn't think of this ahead of time and other things I have stated before. The game is good and well sometimes some bugs are worse then others. The more time the take it could me mean the more time they are putting in us to have a good time gaming. I'm itching too play the game too where i can save and such. However, this could take awhile. Though to help most of a status update would be good. I know for sure it would calm my nerves.

This is a game breaking bug. How I see it, there's really nothing to be thankful for yet. And I suppose, there won't be for at least 2 weeks. It's their job to fix this mess. Honestly, I still can't grasp how this could have been overlooked in the fist place.

Well, add another person with this problem to your ranks!

I'm a bit disappointed by the reaction of some people, though. Come on guys, there's no need to go around insulting Bioware for this. I do admit that a status update would be nice. I'm eager to get gaming.

Could someone upload a savegame we could use for testing? It's getting kinda annoying having to play the whole prologue every time I want to test if it's willing to save now... ;D

EDIT: OK, I've found one myself. Here's the link if anyone needs it: http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=2142

Well it crashed . I'd been playing for a day with the auto save turned off and everything was running smoothly until I finished chapter one and then it tried to auto save even though it's tuned off and you know the rest . What a burn . I'll give them another day or so to put out a save fix and then I'll just box it up and return it to Amazon since they've already approved the refund because of all of the bugs being reported . I was just beginning to think that I might get through the whole game without saving too .

I find this situation to be more than a little ridiculous. I don't mind pausing my game to wait for it to save. To think such a small error based around some presumption that the player is so impatient that they can't wait for a few seconds to save has created an unplayable game...

I want a hotfix by the end of this week. I paid too much money for this game to have to wait longer.

At this point its best to just wait it out and not bother playing it. Go play another game till they get this patched lol

Thanks guys! Can't wait for the fix. Other than this issue the game runs nicely even on a single core... By leaving the computer on continuously I was able to play pretty far into the game and had no problems at all as long as I turned off auto save and never saved manually. Of course, this makes every battle pretty scary as a single death means starting at the beginning again. What finally happened is a power spike after a few days and now I left with nothing. Well, I guess the good news is the game runs and should work perfectly as soon as I get the patch. I can hardly wait. Thanks again!

You had me with you until you mentioned Witcher 2. From the makers that brought you the terrible piece of garbage, we give you the sequel that we promise won't be nearly as bad. People hold smaller developers to a much lower standard and heap on much higher praise. That being said, the Witcher still had a working save system :D

Im having the same issue with only a single core processor. Before I found this I thought I had a bad game. I admit I am a little disappointed as I had spent a lot of money and pre ordered this game only to never have enough time to get past Kirkwall because I cannot save the game. I am glad that it is not just me having this issue and that it is getting worked on. As I have been anxiously awaiting this game, I hope it does not take a year more to fix the issue.

Please, Bioware! Any information on the issue. Just anything. To comfort all of us. It will be impossible for me to wait for a month.. I'll die of impatience.
