The release date check program shows a loading bar and then immediately cuts to the error message. The retry button automatically leads to the same error.
I am running:
Windows XP Professional SP3
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
ASUS P5N-D SLI
Nvidia GTS 250
802.11n Wireless Connection with WPA encryption
-Disabling Anti-Virus and Spyware does nothing.
-Disabling Windows Firewall does nothing
-Reinstalling the game does nothing
-Disconnecting and reconnecting my internet connection does nothing.
-The SecuROM support page offers no assistance.
-The SecuROM Diagnostic Tool states that DA2 does not use SecuROM.
-Uninstalling SecuROM fails to solve the problem.
While I understand that piracy is detrimental to EA and Bioware I would like to have the ability to play the game that I legally purchased. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
