So I romanced Leliana in Dragon Age:Origins, she shows up in Dragon Age 2 saying how she couldn't find the Warden. Wonder what happened.

I think they're going with the idea that the warden went through the mirror in Witch Hunt.

Never played Witch Hunt so it was a WTF moment for me.

The Warden ALWAYS disappears at the end of the game in the epilogue.

But I find it weird because Alistair references The Warden in the same act.
Saying The Hero of Ferelden is waiting back in Denerim.
Or if you married him. "The Ball and Chain".
WTF David Gaider.

I got the slide in which the Leliana and The Warden go off adventuring.

Isn't the warden stated to be missing in act 3?

Or after act 3?

It seems by the time you get to the end of the game, a good amount of time has passed between the final battle and Varric talking to Cassandra, so that probably explains the dissonance between Alistair referencing the Warden and the Warden actually disappearing- it probably happened sometime in between.

In regard to Leliana, it's possible that the same thing is in effect, although in my imported playthrough as Queen, Leliana states she hasn't seen my Cousland in a few years.

I'm/was slightly confused it was just a huge WTF moment, that Leliana would let the Warden just disappear like that.

The ending obviously follows the witch hunt DLC for the fact that Leliana has lost track of the Warden. This is why DLC is terrible and why I don't buy any of it. At least when Bioware did an import thing for ME2 I don't remember any TERRIBLE decisions like the ending of this game.

If the ending isn't following that DLC, why not delve into why 10 years later or w/e Leliana is not with my Warden? Too many loose ends. This is the most disappointing Bioware title, let alone sequel, I've ever had the displeasure of buying.

EDIT: For that matter if it's 10 years later, Why does leliana look the same age..? <_<

He disappears in the Awakening epilogue. You can only leave with Morrigan if you romanced her.

Considering Leliana had things to do with Orlais Chantry and your Warden obviously had other things to deal with, why would they always be together?

Were they together in any of the DLC after origins? No they weren't. Its not impossible that in a moment of them doing their own thing that the warden would disappear.

I never played the DLC so these things happen off-screen.

Oh don't get me started on Awakening, It was an abortion. Hey buy this expansion which has nothing to do with anything. I'm gonna go ahead and chalk both titles up as a cruel joke. Awakening was GLORIFIED DLC held no water whatsoever in DA:O story.

I enjoyed Awakening, to each his own. I'm not going to bother to argue.

Can you tell me what happened though cause I'm slightly confused so the Warden disappears after the events of Awakening.

Warden steps down, travels with Leliana, spotted in Denerim a year later. Nothing further than that. I'm just saying if you played the dlc, every dlc has him with new people and no leliana. If you don't play dlc or don't believe in it's continuity, the opportunity for the Warden to disappear is still there.

It doesn't change the fact that it is poorly done at nearly every turn.

Silly people, epilogue slides never happened, didn't you know that? Gaiden handwaved all that months before DA2 came out.

What are you talking about? Awakening introduced us to the Architech, who started the blight.

-.- How is that important? Oh big bad architect started this whole blight phenomenon. Something that could have easily been mentioned in a codex in DA:O and stuffed away forever. I don't see why it was so hard to just continue a storyline, especially in the "expansion".

You're rediculous, because you said Awakening had nothing to do with DA:O, and I proved otherwise.

Don't all the slides mention the warden eventually disappearing?
