I apologize if this is a repost - I don’t use these forums often and I can’t seem to find a search field.

Can I assume that every spell/ability in Nightmare that hits a group will also affect allies?  The
spell descriptions aren’t very consistent. Its frustrating to spec into a spell like Tremmor (Push a warrior and
prepare to be pushed back. Nearby enemies are knocked back as the warrior slams a weapon into the ground.), which specifically says “enemies”, only to find out that it knows back my party members too.  How does that differentiate from Mind Blast, which doesn’t seem to knock back allies?

I'm playing on Nightmare (PC if that matters) and Mind Blast definitely knocks back allies. Used it once to detach a particularly persistent darkspawn from Hawke who was standing next to Bethany.

Edit: I should probably specify that I did so by blasting Hawke. Blasting the darkspawn is hardly worth mentioning.

You're right, I've either been fortunate enough to never hit an ally or I haven’t noticed when I did.
