could it be, that you can't open the console if you have steam?
cause i wrote
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\dragon age ii\\bin_ship\\DragonAge2.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole
and
OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_F6
and still can't use the cheats -.-

The PyGFF works in changing money amount. However, beyond that I've seen some weird stuff happening, and I'm not sure it's 100% safe for saved games (there were issues, you can read about them in the gff editor discussion thread).

I believe that I read in a different thread around here, that if you have Steam, you have to go through the XML method to enable the console.

ok if ur using the editor of wat was mentioned up above then it wont work. it needs to be updated to 4.1 (which hasnt been made) for it to work. otherwise i think the only way to change money/stats in a saved game is to use the savegame program of GFF. but i havent figured out how to use it just yet. im at college (have one more class) but i think i have an idea how to do it. i will post my results of my experiment later today.
also if u mod anything incorrectly then it will corrupt the saved game file that was used. ull have to start over from the autosave
on other note im still trying to get the console to work. have one more thing to do before i throw in the towel

You can edit stats with the gff4.2, it was updated today.
http://social.biowar...ect/1936/#files
Load the small (~200kb das file of your game) located here:
C:\\Users\\YOU\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\Characters\\YOUAGAIN\\Saves\\SAVES
=========================================================
For PC stats:
Located @ 0
@16002 (SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR)
@16208 (SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR)
@16209 (SAVEGAME_CREATURE_STATS)
@16350 (SAVEGAME_STATLIST)
@0 - 5 refers to each individual stat / 6 - 18 respond to special stats.
Mains stat seems to max at 100 (just doesn't budge higher), not that I am using that, was just curious to see what the max was.
Try and read it like a file directory
0:\\ 16002 (SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR) \\ 16208 (SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR) \\ 16209 (SAVEGAME_CREATURE_STATS) \\ 16350 (SAVEGAME_STATLIST) \\ 0
Also editing the base didn't seem to stick always, so edit the second value modifier.
Ex.)
0 \\ 1SAVEGAME_STATPROPERTY_BASE vs 0 \\ 1SAVEGAME_STATPROPERTY_MODIFIER
=========================================================
MONEY
Under Player Character?
0 \\ 16002 \\ 16208 \\ 16212 SAVEGAME_MONEY\\
Under Party
0 \\ 16003 \\ 16212 SAVEGAME_MONEY\\ < - This one looks real.
=========================================================
SAVING:
Don't forget to Save As when you are finished as to not overwrite saves!
Apparently I accidentally just hit the standard "save" button on accident overwriting a save file, thought crap, loaded the file and none of the changes stuck. You have to "SAVE AS" to save changes.
=========================================================
Edit:
Added Money
Edit2:
Specified Stats
Edit3:
Note on saving!
Happy Hunting!

I only get the french thing when I use the daosavegame file. Which kind of stinks since I seriously screwed up my faction with one of my party members and forgot to load my game before I saved it. So no way to fix it. And since I'm 8 hours into the game, I don't wanna restart =(.
Anyone know how to fix the factions yet?

Xrailax if you mean the Friendly Vs Rivalry setting that can be eddited just fine by using just the editor.exe. Also thank you that was exactly my problem the DAO.exe editor is causing the french DLC issue. Using the Editor.exe is producing no errors so far.
However for those interested. I was unable to find the party members stats using the editor.exe, however if you use the DAO.exe and ONLY adjust your partys stats NOT your main character and NOT thier Friend/Rival numbers then the editor works fine with 1 exception. The exception being that the Stat order is incorrect on the screen, regardless of what it says the stats are in this order
1 - STR
2 - Dex
3 - Magic
4 - Cun
5 - Will
6 - Con
Just ignore whats written in the editor box and adjust the numbers you want using the above list for each Party toon.
