Sorry guys I know it's been out for while, but I finally got to play through it.

10/10

This is the best DLC to date. The dialogue was fckn incredible. The music was perfect for it.

I really hope that this DLC sets the standard for the quality of ME 3. I have to play through this again. Freaking awesome. Bring on Arrival DLC!

I love how it sets up ME3. It was the best dlc so far that's for sure.

It was okay. I don't think it did enough to connect anything to possible events in Mass Effect 3, but hey, it was fun.

I agree. The environment and the scenery were great. It reminded me of walking up the side of The Citadel at the end of Mass Effect 1. Definitely the most unique DLC.

You REALLY can't see where it's leading?

It was certainly enjoyable but for me it was over too quickly! My favourite DLC has been Overlord, mostly because of the emotional impact it has on the player, the writing was really well done on it. But Shadow-broker is great too, especially for all the banter (more banter in Mass Effect, please). Looking forward to seeing what impact it has on ME3.

Banter, graphics, and level design all took up a step up in quality. I approve.

Kasumi's still my favorite, though. Because, well, Kasumi <3

It's better than the main game of ME2 itself.

We get info in lots of ways, if its her telling us X is happening rather than the illusive man doe sit really make much of a difference.

Anyways, I thought it was a lot of fun, but I don't really like the story.  What makes characters like the shadow broker cool is the mystery, they killed the mystery by telling us who he is, and having us kill him.  Writers don't be seem to be able to resist telling us how clever they are by revealing the mysteries that shouldn't be revealed.  Oh look I'm so clever the shadow broker is a giant alien race, you never saw that coming hahahha.  I didn;t really like the series much but as an example how lame would lost have been if they explained everything 3 epsiodes in.

while I do agree with you to a certain extent, I'lI must say have to say Liara is much more useful information broker than TIM will ever be; not to mention she actually give you useful resources.

Not only that, TIM has a vast network and part of that network is probably able to manipulate the  human government, but I don't believe Cerberus' network is able to do a lot more than gather intel regarding the other races.

The Shadow Broker's network however is a lot older and deeply entwined in governments of most of the alien species and as such much more useful to a character that will probably have to motivate said governments to work together and march off to total war with the Reapers.

Great DLC, but it kind of forces you to be friendly to Liara though. Even if you pick a Renegade response, Shep stays friendly. Was kind of bummed by that.

Example: Liara says she wants to come and take a look on the Normandy - Renegade answer: No, I'd rather like to keep our relationship on a professional level ( :/ ) Afterwards, Liara looks at you around her shoulder as she walks away and Shep quickly avoids her gaze, then looks back again... like the game assumes you still like her, secretly.

Don't get me wrong, LOTSB was amazing, definetly one of the best bits of ME2 but to a certain extent I thought Overlord was just as good. Granted, the Hammerhead sections in Overlord sucked ( even though it was nice that they gave us better seceneary to look at ) but I felt like the portions of Overlord where you were on exploring on foot with your squad were just as good as anything in LOTSB, all that was missing was squad banter and dialogue options from the rest of the squad.

It's not just the best DLC, it's the best mission in the entire ME franchise.

Of course, having a long sequence riffing on the ME1 finale didn't hurt.

Rockstar takes DLC to a whole new level, both episodes of GTA IV were fantastic, and Undead Nightmare for Red Dead was unreal--and only 800 Microsoft points on 360 for almost 10 hours of gameplay and new multiplayer content.

It's really a fantastic piece of DLC.
