Really? 16.5 hours? Really? I did every single side quest and companion quest and I just beat the game in 16.5 hours. Way too short, many plot points were undeveloped and overall I would have liked to seen more, was expecting this game for a really long time and while it was really fun, both the story and the length of the game are a let down.
Im done.

How are you folks beating the game this fast? I've seen numbers on both ends of the spectrum, ranging from 13 hours (supposedly 100%) to 25+ hours (without sidequests).

Really? I'm a good 7 hours in, and I'm maybe a third of the way through the "first year" quests.

I doubt youve done every side quest and companion quest in less then 20 hours
#5
Posté 10 mars 2011 - 04:52
How have you managed that? Others have spent 17+ hours on act 1 alone.

Dialogue/cut scene skipping?
#7
Posté 10 mars 2011 - 04:53
I've only played 5 hours but I really hope it isn't possible to beat it in another 11 while doing side quests.

He probably skipped all the dialogue. And oh, screenshot it or it didn't happen.

I'm around 7-11 hours in not entirely sure, but I have yet to do anything on Mount Sundermount or The Deep Roads Expedition.

I have probably about 20+ hours and still in the second act. Unless the 3rd act is short don't see how it is possible.

Well, either you take 20 minutes to find a location or you enjoy the scenery too much, I was at deeproads 7-8 hours in

Fair enough, you win. I applaud your impressive feat of completing the game in 16 hours, you should go apply for the Guinness world record for fastest playthrough on Dragon Age 2.

Didn't the devs state it would be around 30-50 hours? Or am I being too hopeful?

I didn't skip dialogue, I did every quest I could find.

Played mostly on hard, switched over to normal and casual on some boss fights that I was failing a lot at.

I'm doing all the possible side quests and I just started Act 2. I'm over 15 hours in now.

I'm at a little over 10 hours and I haven't even gotten to the deep roads yet. There are a ton of quests to do. Some people like to enjoy and savor everything the game has to offer, others not so much. Reminds me of MMO players who rush to max level in like 2 days and then complain to the devs that there is nothing to to at end game. Can't please em' all.

Odd, maybe people are spending more time traveling/exploring than me, In total I probably spent 18 hours playing because of reloading autosaves to redo dialogue actions and such. I'm just kind of confused as to how people are getting 30+ hours..

You're not supposed to skip the ****ing dialogue. It's an RPG.
