His stating an opinion he backed it up with both saves and achievements and it's a FACT that he finished game in 16 hours.
I don't think anyone is disputing that. At least I'm not. However, he made it seem like 16 hours is normal, or standard and basing his opinion of the game on it. Doing a speed run just so you can say you did a speed run and base the overall quality of the product based on that speed run isn't constructive.
Again You miss the fact, that he posted an achievement list that proves that he did not speed run. He finished the game. Not cheated, not skipped, not speed run, he F-I-N-I-S-H-E-D. Got that?
Who said it was his first playthrough ? <_<

I doubt you did a complete playthrough in 16.5. I was at almost 30 hours at the end of act 3 without doing a bunch of side quests.
I got the proof *shrug* I can post my entire quest log too lmao.

Uh, you can still speed run the game and finish it at the same time. The whole point of a speed run is to, S-P-E-E-D through it.
The fact that some people are still around 10-12 hours in Act 1 proves that 16 hours for the entire thing certainly isn't the norm.

you can also read every single tome in the game and get 70+ hours *shrug*
I didn't mean to do a "speed through" just played the game regularly..

Yes he seems to be one of those people who can finish the game faster than most of the people but he did not post this to brag or just to bash this game,
personally I am at the beggining of Act 2 and my time is about 16 hours but I did paused or spend most of the time just watching the city..
anyway I have to agree with Oslegend, there could have been more contents in DA2 like the first year when you choose to work for someone but you just get fast forward while it could have been an interesting year, or some years that was just skipped... anyway I get the feeling we will get an expansion pack(and please make it longer than DA:A I finished that in 11 hour..) or DLCs since the level cap is 50 I hope we can get the most out of it,

Thanks for answering my question earlier. If what Nonoru said is true and you did miss some side-quests etc. by accident, the devs have stated that the side-quests are more intertwined with the story than in DA: O.
So maybe another run through will give a better impression as well of the story if you find more content.
Of course, this is only based on conclusions from reading the forums and such. Curse the UK and later release dates.

Doing all the sidequests so far gave me an impression that just missing 10??? or so wont make that much difference.

I was referring to Nonoru saying he's done 65 side-quests and companion quests at the start of act 2. So, it stands to reason there're more quests than 11 left over the course of 2 acts.
In any case, I'm only going off what Nonoru and Oslegend have said. I'm at the point right now where I just want to get my hands on the game. Waiting for the post is agonising.
