I'm playing this game for what it is aiming for , NOT what it isnt aiming for. Someday Bioware may actually decide to topple their performance with BG2 ... Someday...

Yay-and-nay from me. DA2 hasn't yet blown me out of the water, but it also hasn't made me want to use it as a coaster.

Yeah I'm in the middle. Initially I loved it but 20 some hours in, I'm feeling some indifference setting in.

Why is that ? Without spoilers if you could.

I've heard all sorts of things like it's 85% combat etc.

Best one so far someone described it as "one long deep road"

Running through the same maps over and over does that.

I like the game, I just... think some things could have been better... the story feels a lot less grand than in Origins, I guess...

I couldn't stand playing DA:O for long. Didn't even finish it.
My faith in Bioware was renewed again in DA2 though.

Not saying it is a perfect game, but imo it's one step in the right direction.

I think a lot of it has to do with playing a voiced character.
