hi rob, for my case, i've just installed the 1.01 patch after a reinstallation of the game. ive also tried disabling firewall, ad-aware, avira anti virus and add exceptions to them. tried solutions mentioned by forum members here who got through... but still i failed to activate the game.

yes i played the demo without a single problem and i used to play battlefied bad company 2 in ea server too.

[*]Only other EA 2011 Titles I have are Dead Space 2 and Bulletstorm,  I tried Dead Space 2 the other day and I can log into that just fine. but AVG was considering the games .exe file tro be a virus and I had to go into AVG's resident shield and add it as an exception to even get it launched.[*]Bulletstorm on the other is a Games for windows Live title and thus does not use EA's log in system tech.

I contacted EA support and they activated my game manually and I was away playing the game... I wasn't getting the drive or not connected errors, just failing to activate despite already being registered here and EA giving me a 2nd registration key.

once again i can not connect to the in game server, it works sometime and most of the time it doesn`t.
now it is saying i lost connection to the dragon age server as well as can not connect to the dragon age server. i have let through firewall and turned off my anti virus and still the same thing.
this is not a problem on our pc it a problem biowares end.

please sort this out

I started having this problem just a few mins ago.  i'm guessing login servers are down.

i just managed to log in, but i had to restart the game and now i can`t again. this is just silly now.

Yesterday I was able to log in to the my online account ingame, but today it does not work. I've turned off my firewall and antivirus but this did not make a difference so clearly NOT something my end.
Hope this can get fixed real quick! :?

Got the Signature Edition, tried to login. EA-Account and Bioware-Forum-Account exist both. It seems that it tries to connect, but then it says I lost my connection to the servers.
I'm using the Windows Firewall and GData Antivirus.

Aunt Edith: I am playing from EU as well, like the poster after me.

I am also receiving "You have lost your connection to Dragon Age server". I am guessing it's the login servers, it can be caused by either EA or Bioware side.

PS : I'm playng from EU, dunno if it makes a difference.

I can't login this morning either, no changes to my system or software since I was playing last night and was logged in fine then, so I assume the login server is feeling ill.

Jeah well... Not that it matters but I have the same problem like the posters above me: "You have lost your connection to Dragon Age server"
And yes, I'm playing from europe as well. Germany to be certain.

same problem "You have lost your connection to Dragon Age server" also EU (Germany)

yestday it worked just fine but today suddenly I can't connect.

Managed to log in last night, went to sleep, woke up ready for some more DA2 action...and i am unable to connect to servers - as everyone else.

I had activated my DLC and extra content (signature edition) before - will this content not be available if i attempt to play without connection to the servers?

Cannot login +1 . From Europe. This morning only. yesturday everything worked perfectly. Game still is playable, just progress not uploaded, so not much worries. Progress gets uploaded once you connect to servers again. save games stays on pc either way.

Same problem - Australia. Was playing a few hours ago no problem. The problem is not client side, this is a server issue.
