No Luck here getting the Black Emporium :(

Installed the game, logged into the social.bioware.com, registered the game, entered all my codes (pre-order and DA II Online Pass). Black Emporium doesn't show up under registered content, entering the code a second time just gave me the message "code has been used already".

First my retailer pulls a fast one on me re. SE ("You didn't pre-oder Signature Edition, just DA II, so I can't give you a Signature Edition" Never mind that I pre-ordered well before Jan 11th) and now I'm not even getting the Black Emporium?!?

Same here. Redeemed my SE Online Pass, the code was accepted, and now the DLC is nowhere to be found. DA2's menu and the registered game content page here have only a couple of unlockables, but nothing of the Signature Edition.

Just my 2 cents, but I think a lot of you are having issues with the install due to how steam installs games.

Normally from CD it will installs C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age 2

But, Under steam it is C:\\Program Files\\Steam\\Steam Apps\\common\\Dragon age 2

Common might need to be replace with your steam user name. Depends on how the game installs

So when you're running the download content from bioware it default path is C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age 2

This file path for the add-ons can't but changed, however your game can be..My suggestion is create the proper file path and copy paste your Dragon age install into this path from your steam install...See if you can get it to install that way...Once it installed..Move everything back into the steam folder so steam can launch the program correctly :)

I have downloaded Hi-resolution package & Dark Emporium. When I install, it shows that it requires Dragon Age II to be installed and ask me to try again after the installation.

I have already installed Dragon Age II and have spent over 15 hours playing it with plenty of in game saves.

I have tried the followings:
- Launch the launcher and close it and run the installer of DLC and hires pack, didn't work
- Changing the region to US on windows (I am using XP), didn't work
- Enter game and logout of my EA account, then try to install DLC, didn't work

I used EADM to purchase the game

This is my issue verbatim. Bought and installed game via EADM. Game works fine and content like Fadeshear appears ingame correctly. However, when I start the DA2_BlackEmporium.exe I get from here it gives an error saying it requires DA2 to be installed first. Some sort of registry check in your DLC executables needs to be deactivated for EADM game versions...

Registered DA2, redeemed Signature Edition and pre-order keys. My account shows all DLC (Exiled Prince, Black Emporium). In game I don't see any of them.

Need Black Emporium? Check the help guide. http://eaclassics.cu...kw/dragon age 2

As for the other content. Many of the items aren't available until you reach a certain personal location in the game. They will be in a chest. Sorry to be vague. I don't want to give spoilers.

Same issue.

Bought SE version. Installed. Registered DLC at redeem page. Run DA2. No DLC shows up. ?

Edit - ok this is confusing. It seems like if you get it to list all your registered content on your social bioware page, then you can click more info for each one and download them individually. Going to try it now. Not exactly clikandplay sigh.

Edit edit - some appear under Unlockable Content. These ones you dont need to download manually (items only I guess). The other ones you do.

SOLUTION

So, enter your DLC code if you havent already on the redeem page.
Then go to the DA2 DLC page and click on learn more.
It will pop up a window where you can click PC or MAC to buy the DLC. Click the BUY button. No, really.
Then you will get a list of all your registered DLC content. Some are items and will appear under the Unlockables menu option. The three DLCs that come with the SE you can download from the links on that page, PC or OSX.

good luck

okay, I have a stupid problem: I have all the needed dlcs in my entitlements, but when i click the more info- link to download the content, I can't see the download link anywhere, It's like cut off from the window, but the download link was visible in exiled prince, black emporium and signature edition rewards tough...

Hello, I redeemed my exiled prince and Dark emporium key before I installed the game, now I installed it, but it seems nothing showed up! I tried redeeming the code again, but that seems impossible. Did I waste my DLC? o.o

Same problem here. Signature edition, registered all codes, have lots of stuff highlighted in the "extras - unlockables" tab, but absolutely nothing to download in the DLC menu. Is anyone testing these games before they go live, because this seems to be a really stupid issue.

Same thing here with DLC's. I'm currently conducting EA through the phone. I'm 60 minutes on the line now! The guys ask a couple of questions and then put me on hold for 5+ minutes. This last guy has me 15 minutes on hold now. Good thing I have free calls.

I had to manually install the DLC content. It wasn't showing up as available. Once I installed it manually it shows up properly.

You can download it via registered game content by clicking the "info" button next to the content. (This is for the prince, black emporium, and signature edition)

However, manual install won't work for Steam since the file path that it installs to is different then what the manual installed content is looking for. See my previous post above for a possible fix.

Either that or delete the game and see if you can install it to the correct file path via steam.

Same problem with DLC not being available: registered both of the codes supplied with the SE (DVD version) but no DLCs showing up in game or under the registered promotions, and no download option either: they need to be bought separately. Not happy, unsurprisingly.

ok... i made it^^ apperantly the manual installation works after you restart your pc :3

review of steam users: go into your library, click dragon age 2, look for the CD Key button on the right, copy to clip board the codes and enter em at; this site (below your profile-> profile-> redeem promo code-> rinse and repeat for mulitple keys), then go to your registered content, view the "more information" for the black empodium (or what else), download the file, run the file ->it works? good! if not-> restart your pc-> run the file again-> now it should work! (at least it did for me now

This did it for me.  I should have tried it earlier, but got turned around looking at the DLC panel in Steam.

Is this supposed to be automatically updating and downloading?

Same problem here.

I bought the game, got it yesterday. I registed for this place, registed my game and put in the black emporium code. It said it registered fine, and the free items (3 books and the boots) unlocked just fine. However, black emporium does not show up in that list.

Trying the suggested solution further up in this thread I (going to the dlc page, clicking on learn more, selecting pc and then clicking buy) only shows me that I need more bioware points. So it is definitly not registered correctly. If i try to redeem the code again, it says it is used. Great

Like stated above by someone else, I am far from happy

I just bought the game today and for some reason I registered my Black Emporium code before the game itself. I go to the page where it should list my DLC and have tried relogging the game several times but it shows up nowhere. I tried the code a second time and it says it is in use(I was logged into my account when I registered it.) but it seems unaware of this.
