 This really sucks... I made my Hawke a tank and I've played as Bethany the entire time, now I have no idea who to play as : /, she was really fun and easy to play, ruins the plan I had going.

Use Anders instead?

You had to take her and Anders for her to survive or leave her at the house.

Leaving her at the house will cause her to join the Circle or Taking her with Anders to the Deep Roads will allow her to join the Grey Wardens. But either option you still lose her for the duration of the game.

Spoilers!! aparently if u didnt kill Logain he saves them. Same with Carver so if i don't take him with me he won't leave right?

Wrong, if left at home Bethany is discovered and forced to join the circle of magi, while your brother would join the templars.

Which one do you guys believe was the better choice? (No spoilers in the future years please)
I just did got done with this and she was taken to the Grey Wardens

I had the same reaction not knowing I brought Carver on first playthrough and he died...needless to say the only thought that came over me was...Always listen to your mother. Still Grey Warden for them is a better choice as Bethany would have her (more or less) freedom of roaming, and not being stuck in a tower...and Carver would avoid the risk of becoming a lyrium addict. Man...that's actually pretty awesome now that I think about it

So they were meant to be lost no matter what? I really did like Bethany over Carver.
