After a jaunt clearing the ancestral hawke mansion of slavers I picked up a side-quest referring to a letter between Hawke's father and an old friend. The quest description assumed I had read the thing but I found no in-game way to actually do so, later on in the quest you're given a letter to show carver, same problem: I've found no way to actually read it, so is that not possible ? I know there's a tab under the codex for letters, but they dont seem to appear there,

So what gives ? Are all letters and such impossible to actually read in this game ? Simply a bug ? In those two quests I felt like I was missing part of the story.

There is a desk that you can read letters that will answer some of these things in your house.
