When I created my character, I could not customize her features. I could only use the game presets. After I went to the Black Emporium and accessed the Mirror of Transformation, I still could not customize my character's features. Is there a way to fix this?

You cannot customize the features if you pick either of the first two presets (standard Hawke & standard Hawke w/red tattoo) but for any of the rest you should be able to customize the features. Took me a minute to figure that out. If that wasn't it, sorry I can't help.

Hmm. I don't think that's it. Any preset that I choose does not enable the character features below it. They are always greyed out regardless of the chosen preset. Thanks for the reply.

Not sure what might be the problem but I can confirm that you don't need the high res texture pack.
Do you have the demo installed? I know character customization was locked for that, maybe it's somehow effecting the full install. This probably isn't the case but might be worth uninstalling the demo and trying it.

*LOL* After I posted, the exact same thought crossed my mind. Once I uninstalled the demo, the character customizations opened up.

You can edit the pre set hawke, if you move the preset along to another one they should open up.

The issue I found is that the PC gamma settings are so low, you can't even see the slider. I had to edit the .ini file even to get to where I could see half the game. I think many people miss the slider, because it's so dark when you first load that you don't even see the slider option.
