I am in Act 2, yet to get her to talk to me, Her friendship damn close to max & I gave her a wooden hala, nothing yet.  I flirted with her in Act 1, nothing since then.

Is it like Lelianna bug, where if she gets to high of a Friendly rep, she skips over the key part to romance her?
Could use some assistance on what I am missing or if this is bugged.

My Merrill romance went through on the first time without incident. Hmm, I'm not sure what the bug was.

Go to your home at night and hope she is there. I haven't been able to accomplish this, I can't even flirt with her, but I read that somewhere. Hope it works for your.

Yeah she was at Hawke's Uncle's house and she talked to the dog about a wolf. Can you do a threeway with her and Isabella?

Max out the friendship and support her with the mirror and she'll show up at your house one day.

How do you start the mirror quest?

This is really annoying. I gave her the Halla and talked to her about how she sided with the pride demon and I've still not gotten a chance to flirt with her since the one time in Act 1. Meanwhile I have to fight off Sebastion, Isabella and Anders with a stick. She is the only one I ever flirted with.

So, if some glitch prevents me from being with her in this playthrough, I'm probably done with Bioware games. The approval bugs in Origins were bad enough.

Having romanced her myself I can understand the frustration. I found that it was not until I was close to the end of act two that I got a chance to Romance her again. By act three you should of slept with her and had her move in. In short, theres a long wait between the romance dialog's (First and Second) but it picks up after that.

I have had a glitch involving her companion quest at the start of Act 2, essentially when it gives all the "Talk to person" quests it lists hers as completed but I don't get any supplemental quests like I do with the others.

Merril can't be romanced till after you do her companion quest about the mirrior which for me wasn't available till damn near the end of the act.
