I'm trying to download a mod, but whenever I open it with the Dragon Age Uploader it gives me an error message that says:

"Error: Cannot find "DAUpdater.xml" file. Please contact Tech Support."

Anybody else having this problem?

Oh, by the way... I am not running the EA downloader nor the STEAM version of DA.

Please? Anyone? I am at a total loss here. I really would like to be able to use player-created content, but I don't know if I'll be able to as long as this glitch persists.

Still trying things, but nothing has worked.

:\\ I found DAUpdater.xml in the list of services that I pulled up with my run menu, but even though I activated it, nothing's changed. Still no answers from any of you?

Put the mod in your "bin_ship" directory, then run it. Worked for me.

C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship

I don't seem to have that folder. Any other ideas?

you sorta need that folder (a bin_ship folder in the dragon age directory where-ever you installed it)

It's not the my documents folder, it's the Program Files folder or the install path you selected when you installed the game. If you can't see it, the folder could be hidden, in which case you need to go into the view options and tick "Show Hidden Files & Folders", or something along those lines.

Well, I can't speak for Quiksmith98, but I bought mine from Gamestop on release day. I'm having the problem nevertheless.

EDIT: My game is, in fact, registered. I don't see what you're getting at.
