 I need to make sure that it gets recognized in the epilogue. I know I need to play a mage and put Anora on the throne, but what about putting both Anora AND a Hardened Alistair on the throne while sparing Loghain? I think I remeber still being only able to talk to Anora at the end for a boon. Or is Anora and only Anora on the throne the only one that works? Please help.

It's never recognized in the end of the game at all. The Chantry refuses the request anyway.

Yes I know that, but isn't the Chantry refusing it technically an acknowledgement that I had asked for it at all in the first place? Irving acknowledges it too. I just want to import a save file with a Mage Warden who asked for it and see if it has any significant impact in DA2.

The request to free them does nothing. There is no noticeable effect in Awakening. You can spare Loghain in the end, which will cause Alistair to quit the party. He will still marry Anora, and after Loghain's redemption quest Alistair can be persuaded to take his throne again.

Vit246 - I know what you're asking. The magi boon flag is set incorrectly if Alistair is King, and yes I'm afraid this is still the case if Alistair marries Anora. The only occassion the magi boon flag is correctly set is if Anora is solo queen.
But you can mod this. http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1120 On this patch, go to Files, and then under Updates search for Additional_Epilogue_Fix_v3 Whack this on and you can put whoever you want on the throne.

It's also recognized if they marry and Loghain is recruited since Queen Anora gives the boon, and First Enchanter Irving will acknowledge it.
