For some reason I can't seem to beat the Areshok, is there a good way to do this without wasting all my health potions and running in circles? haha

Try the strategy forum. (: I personally poked him to death and abused my AoEs as a 2h warrior... in general, potion and draught spam. Really wouldn't advise it.

Second to malja. I drank a ridiculous amount of potions and stamina draughts (as a 2h Warrior). It helps if you kite him around a lot and really try to avoid his charge. Take advantage of the fact that you can queue potions even when incapacitated (when he impales you and lifts you up for a good 5 seconds) Just wear him down, it took me nearly 10 minutes on normal and almost all of my potions/draughts.

Oh, man, as a Rogue it was very difficult. Definitely had to save+reload several times. I basically used Backstab + running in circles. Backstab is great because it gets you behind him, so he can't pull off some of his nastier tricks.

Image IPB Imagine it on hard. Probably would've saved an arseload if I turned down the difficulty. I'd love to see how people on nightmare do it for the less range inclined classes.

I imagine higher difficulties are much the same, but with more running around waiting on your potion cooldown. You only take damage if you're actively trying to engage him, he's pretty easy to avoid. That said, I'd hate to bring a tank warrior, as it would take all damn week, or a mage into this. I think on my next playthrough, In which I plan to be a mage, I might just sellout isabella. She's good, but not a real cornerstone member of a party, as I see it.

Maybe i had a different result... but by duel did you guys fight him one on one? For me it was the whole room vs. my party. As a mage it would be rediculously easy to kill him. He's not immune to petrify, glyph of paralysis, crushing prison, or any of those CC abilities. I had Merril petrify him, then backstab/twin fang/chain lightning killed him pretty quick. It was the qunari mages that made it annoying.

Guess the Q don't like my sarcastic sense of humor.
