Hey, so it's been a while since I played the games.....because I foolishly gave away my copies. Which now makes me want to cry. Anyway, I just remembered something the other day: one time, when talking to Canderous, he mentioned some sort of asteroid that sort of up and flew away as he approached it. Is this a reference to the Yuuzhan Vong invasion? Like a scout ship? At this point I've obviously flagged myself as a huge geek, but I'm really curious. Anyone else have that thought?


Edit: I should have tried wookiepedia first. Sorry. If anyone is interested, the answer is yes, it's an indirect mention. Way cool Bioware, way cool.

It is in the end conversation with Kreia. If you ask her about Mandalore's future, she will tell you about the decline of mandalorians until the last will be 'too easily slain by a Jedi'.

That sounds as vague as any horoscope. Many things are easily slain by Jedi. She should have done the classic "You will have an unexpected windfall". Kreia - reduced to sideshow parlour tricks by the end of the game, sad.

I really hope not, I didn't like the NJO series and the whole Yuuzhan Vong thing, the whole concept and the story was just not my taste. I mean seriously, that one species of extra-galactic origin manages to invade and conquer most of the galaxy, conquer Coruscant and then starts to terraform it. They alone managed to conquer most of the galaxy? What was the Republic doing under all this time? Same with the Jedi?

To be honest most things EU stuff after Episode 6 is just strange(except the Jedi Knight games and their stories), luckily it's just EU.

I hope the asteroid was something else.

This is the exact quote:

"They will die a death that will last millennia, until all that remains is their code, their history, and in the end, the  shell of their armor upon the shell of a man, too easily slain by Jedi."
