I attempted to search for this answer in the forums and could not find it.

I bought DA:O via Impulse (Digital Deluxe) last night.  Will the DD game be workable with mods? And 2 will there be an Impulse preload?

IIRC Impulse doesn't have preloads. Good download speeds but no preloads. The Impulse version would work with mods with no modidifications to the mods that's for certain. The Steam version might need some minor tweaks to the mod to run(or not we don't know yet).
