At first I thought the game was completely unplayable despite the fact my specs are superior to the minium reqs and in most ways to the reccomended. I've updated everything including my Nvidia drivers using the beta that is supposed to improve compatability. It took me many tries to figure out what caused it as I just couldn't grasp such a basic failing.

Using any key at all will cause the game to crash. I haven't gotten very deep into the game for obvious reasons. From what I have seen this means I can't do things like register, login, or use hotkeys. I can click through the menus and the game appears to play fine so long as I only use the mouse. As soon as I click any key at all the game immediately crashes. No error message or anything explaining why. I had no issues like this with DA:O, ME1 +2. I tried turning off all antivirus software and adding firewall exceptions but there was no change.

I'd expect this sort of thing from a crappy port, obviously not everyone is having this problem and it doesn't seem to be one of the more common bugs (though I didn't go further back than the first couple pages). If anyone could help me figure out how to fix this bizarre issue please let me know. The only thing I might have outdated is OS...but I can run Crysis 2 demo and Bulletstorm with no issues. I seem to have the same issues with the DA2 demo as well.

I have same problem cant press anything on my keyboard or game crashes. I was able get past it yesterday, but i dont really know how and now after my computer has been restarted i cant get it work again. Yesterday all i did was turn off some programs and play around in the options, but that dont seem to work this time around.

I can play the game if i just dont touch my keyboard at any point, but its not fun way to play it.

I just installed high resolution texture pack and now i can use my keyboard in the game. Now i just need to play and see if it is permanent fix.

Problem is back after restarting computer. Reinstalling game and high resolution texture pack don't work.

Using other keyboard wont work and now i have same problem in DA:O it did work fine last time i played it. Only thing i have changed after that is my graphics card, it seems there might be a connections.

OC Guru program that came with my graphics card seems to be the reason for crashes when pressing any key on keyboard. I closed OC Guru and now everything seems to work at least for now.
