So I haven't been able to do really any side-quests.. i'm missing out on a lot of gifts.. i've been unable to start Fenris' side-quest which apparently holds an armor upgrade for him.. another side-quest that holds an armor upgrade for Aveline.. and more.. why can't I find these quests?

I'm about to go to the Qunari.. I just lost Isabela with her relic.. this is apparently the ending of Act 2 right? Or does it continue after the "qunari invasion"? if not, can someone help me?

I'm also missing an armor upgrade for Anders called "Armor Suits", anybody know where that is?

I am about in the same place - also haven't triggered any companion quests in Act 2? Do they have to a certain approval rating - if so, I have not been traveling with Merril/Fenris...but do keep leveling them and visiting them with gifts?

To start Fenris' side quest take him into your party and start traveling between the locations on the Free Marches map. Sooner or later you'll be ambushed and the next leg of the quest can begin. The only requirement that my guide states is that you needed to have talked to him at the beginning of the Act like with the rest of the companions in his home, but I'm sure that that dialogue scene didn't have a timelimit on it.

Merrils quest should come up after you finish the quest "Blackpowder Courtesy"
