I'm on the Herbalist's Tasks quest. For the ironbark, I talked to the guy in the dalish camp, who told me to go to the ironbark clearing (which he marked on my map). I went there and killed all the darkspawn. I scoured the area afterwards but could not find the ironbark anywhere. Where is it supposed to be? Thanks.

After the first wave of darkspawn it appears as though they have stopped but eventually more will come if you wander around. You haven't killed them all until you have killed an Ogre - after this the ironbark will be visible on the minimap.

I killed an Ogre mid-spawn I think. I saw the Ogre appear in a portal-like thing right in front of me and it was insta-gibbed by my party before it fully appeared. I've since searched the area and not found the Ironbark. I'll load an earlier save and do the darkspawn fight again and see if that changes anything.
