what happened to ser pounce a lot?

Even though I never played the addon, he said that the grey wardens made him give the cat away, and mentioned how the almost got ripped in half by a genlock, but stopped it by scratching at it's face.

Bioware with all the unanswered questions you've given us we could fill several large dictionarys, how about you actually answer somthing instead of just droping more on us for once? You're going to end up with so many unanswered questions you won't remember them all and will become unable to answer them due to the massive swamp of questions you'll get lost in. Which will in tern lead to fan rage since fans remember everything you've ever said....ever.

I completely disagree; fans feed on cliffhangers like Bioware feeds on their resultant tears and everyone knows it. 8D Besides, have you seen the map of Thedas? There's no way anyone would be satisfied with a candy-wrapped, unicorn frolicking "every single thread tied" ending so soon when the surface has barely been scratched.

*wanders off to content herself with nomming more on the cliffhangery goodness*

Right when they see it, Varric says it's an idol carved out of lyrium.

I wonder if DA is going in the direction of Lost where each episode just ends up answering a few questions while at the same time leaving you with even more questions.

Speaking of Sandal... what weird Lady are you talking about?  How could I missed such a show?? Blast! Anyway... there is more to him then just using overpowered magic - the fact that he can do it at all! As far as I remember from Origins it was clearly stated that no dwarf is capable of using magic at all! So this leads me to these conclusions:
1) Maybe he was exposed to the lirium in some... "special" way, which allowed him to use magic and affected his mind turning him into a retard(if you played Origins - you may remember bald dwarf merchant in Orzammar, who acted pretty... awkward). And in return his... "retardness" gives him some sort of super magic power! :wizard:

In your house, Sandal speaks of a scary lady in Act 3, I think after doing Varric's quest and getting the fragment back to Sandal to forge that awesome weapon rune :D.

And then the very end you can tell was made up 20 minutes before shooting it?  They made the sound when closing the menu sound like the smoke monster so I wouldn't be surprised.  That is where the Warden and Hawke are at right now.  Sitting in that little church waiting for all these other crazies like Alistair and such to join them.

I bet Sandal is an Old God. When he gets jumped and he is unable to take out darkspawn by the thousands he will be the archdemon in DA3.

In regards to Sandal the game clearly shows he doesn't have magic he uses runes and manipulates them. If he was in orzammar (sp??) he would probably be a damned paragon. The lady by his bed could be Flemeth or it could just be something hes dreaming about he is a little retarded.

As far as the idol i dont think anyone living could explain that. My opinions on the matter are that A. Like the statue in Merril's side quest it had a demon bound to it or B. Maybe its a conduit or sorts to connect people to the fade somehow and allows a demon to feed on them. But how the hell did that little idol turn into that big sword??

As for everyone running away this made no sense to me you started a revolution and then run?? wtf is with that hawke is a punk in my opinion this is the man who stood toe to toe with an arishok but he flees at the threat of templars??? Varric stated that all the circles and the templars had broke away to do their own thing you cant tell me he could amass an army, I mean christ the warden did it and he didnt do half of the amazing stuff hawke did.

But in the end odds are were gonna have to wait 2 years for DA3 to get any answers and then the massive conflict with Morrigan/Flemeth will be resolved and the world will be peaceful once again. Until they announce the next age. After all the age of the dragon is all about change.

"no closure" I loved the game, but I gotta say I agree with that part. Ending was kinda abrupt.

i really dont want to have to wait another 1.5-2 years to find out the next "episode". DAO had 1 or 2 major unanswered questions at the end (mainly your son), this game had a ton of unanswered questions, in fact it feels more like the game stopped at intermission instead of an actual ending. i'm sorta hoping they add more content in DLC's or an expansion (i'm not a fan of them doing that just to get us to cough up more money but i really want to find out)

This is what I absolutely hated about the ending.  A cliffhanger is fine, but damn, give us some level of satisfaction at the ending.  ME 2 gave us a crew full of warriors ready to go and Reapers on the way.  Baldurs Gate II gave us Irenicus in lava with mysterious "hooded characters" talking about killing the main character.  DA II gave us...the world going to crap and everyone disappearing.  Welp...

This.

I don't think DLC is going to answer anything. It's going to go around and around until the DA franchise gets cancelled, and Gaider writers a book to tie up all the storylines and give us a grand conclusion.
